“Paul Radin was an American cultural anthropologist and folklorist of the early twentieth century specializing in Native American languages and cultures” (Wikipedia). He was born in the cosmopolitan Polish city of Łódź in 1883. In 1884 his family moved to Elmira, New York. He went into public school and graduated from the College of the City of New York in 1902. That’s where he became interested in studying history. Paul Radin was a man who was the author of the Winnebago Trickster Cycle.
