Depletion is the reduction of the quantity of something. Natural resource depletion is that the consumption of the resource is faster than it produces. Example of natural resources can be water, wood, crops and oil. India is located in the continent of Asia. The neighboring countries are China, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. India is a country with the population of 1.349 billion in 2018. India is ranked number 2 in the list of countries by population. With the huge amount of population, the natural resources will definitely be consumed faster that it can be produced. Therefore it causes Natural Resource Depletion in India. (GETTLEMANNOV, 2017) The 2017 State of Global Air report, published by the Health Effects Institute, shows that air pollution-related deaths in Indian between 1990 and 2015 rose by almost 150%. More simply, today in India 14.7 people in every 100,000 die of an o-zone related illness. (Jones, 2017) LOST OF BIODIVERSITY The main cause of loss of biodiversity are deforestation, global warming, overpopulation and pollution are few of the major causes for loss of biodiversity. In fact human beings have deeply altered the environment, and have modified the territory, exploiting the species directly. OZONE LAYER DEPLETION Ozone layer plays an important role to protect the earth from harmful ultraviolet rays. The reason that the ozone layer depletion is the production and emission of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCc). There are many other substances that lead to ozone layer depletion such as hydro chlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Such substances are found in vehicular emissions, by-products of industrial processes, aerosols and refrigerants.
