During the holocaust 6, million Jewish people were killed. Nazi Germany was able to achieve 2 of the hardest things to do by a government… Genocide and love of its people, at the same time. Nazi Germany used media and propaganda to hide and manipulate information in order to achieve their goals. Before and during the 2nd world war, Germany used speeches and propaganda to earn the love of their citizens and slightly induce them the Jew dehumanization. Germans used media as a tool to manipulate their people in order to achieve the steps needed to achieve a Genocide. Besides, German media hid and manipulated information to their people and the world to achieve their evil goals without the world knowing what they were truly doing. It started with Criminals, they weren’t going to jails because of course, they were different, and so they started to send them to concentration camps. After the inauguration of this horrid places, Hitler gave a famous speech in the Berlin sport palace in 1941, in this speech, he claimed the progress of Germany was amazing, he reworded himself with his own achievements all in order to get the unconditional support of their people to later convince them, for the need of war, he defamed other countries and showed Jews as threats, the perfect speech to begin a genocide who no one would notice because they were all so busy thinking about the incoming
