Globalization is the integration and interaction of economic, political, cultural systems among the people, companies, government of different countries while innovation is the transformation of new ideas, new knowledge into new products and services. Whether globalization and innovation have exerted positive or negative impacts on people’s lives is of controversy and we should determine the influences from various aspects and angles. For the sake of globalization, more and more multinational corporations, namely Coca Cola, Macdonald, Adidas,… have emerged all over the world spreading consumerist culture which leads people to materialistic and similar lifestyles. It is McDonaldized society that impels consumers to purchase (Cuadra-Montiel, 2012). Additionally, innovative campaigns such as promoting popular culture and the news media have instilled in global citizenry values and habits determined by global standard, or more precisely, Westernized standard. People are losing their own personal identity for following and chasing the same dominant culture. Without any doubt, experiences with global brands from Coca Cola to Facebook have become indispensable and identical routines of many people. Generally, there is an infinitesimal disparity in the architecture features in urban neighborhood as a consequence of ubiquitous invasion of Western-styled buildings, restaurants, houses, toilets, and so forth.
