Smartphones do more harm than good!

Are smartphones good for you? The answer to this question is obviously arguable. Personally, I disagree with the statement. Smartphones are rapidly advancing technologically; however many experts and parents are debating over whether they do more harm than good. Although smartphones harm us in some circumstances, the amount of good it does overweigh the amount of negative impacts caused by it. Smartphones are one of the basic needs after food, water and shelter. These are well known across the world as they are the most common forms of communication. Multitasking is one of the key advantages of them, they can be used to communicate across the world, entertain you, or even with your schoolwork and help you achieve good grades. However, theoretically these devices are the fundamental cause of grades dropping from A’s to F’s. The research show that 44% of all teens who take their smartphones to school have texted at least once a day or more while studying in the class. Furthermore, this tells us that students aren 't paying attention to their studies, despite their grades falling, reducing their chances to get into good universities.

Given various disadvantages of smartphone use among students, there are some important benefits that have changed the way students learn in a relatively positive manner as well. With smartphones, students get a whole new world of research and applications that students earlier were deprived. Whilst earlier,
