Tobacco is a product prepared from the leaves of the tobacco plant by curing them. From the first use people get addicted and want to purchase more but the real problem is that tobacco has side effect on health .In this essay will write and explain about tobacco market economical and changes that happens in this market. The law of demand says that, if all other factors remain equal, the higher the price of a good, the less people will demand that good which means , the higher the price, the lower the quantity demanded. The amount of a good that buyers purchase at a higher price is less because as the price of a good goes up, so does the opportunity cost of buying that good. Many countries are decide to put solution for reducing purchasing tobacco because Tobacco and smoking have a number of negative effects : ( Tobacco smoking kills , its exacerbates poverty , its contributes to world hunger by diverting prime land away from food production ,its production damages the environment, it reduces economic productivity and While the Tobacco industry may employ people, this can be considered an example of “wasted labour”, capital and resources .For that the WHO have make processor to reduce consuming tobacco for example Sale and promotion of tobacco TV and press advertising is banned, but it’s still possible to promote cigarettes through displays in smaller shops. We will ban eye-catching for the consumers to decrease the number of purchasing tobacco product. Another action is Tobacco taxes that government has taking from tobacco industries .It’s been proven that high prices put people off smoking especially young people and people on lower incomes. It’s also important that cheap, black market cigarettes and tobacco don’t undermine prices. Supply for tobacco represents how much the market can offer tobacco product .The quantity supplied refers to the amount of a certain good producers are willing to supply when receiving a certain price. Also as we mention that demand and supply has factors that will change the low of demand and supply for the tobacco product these factors are movement and shift. Movement happens when the price of good changed therefore the quantity also change.
