Young people are not able to think like adults so they are easy to follow the wrong way of doing things like they see in video games. Other countries do not have the same problems because their laws are strict or their customs for punishing wrong doing is much harder. Some of the violent video games young people like to play are : Grand theft auto, Call to duty, and Assassin. These games show a lot of blood and people getting killed.
With this in mind, some researchers are alleging that aggressive behavior is resulting from violent video games while others disagree completely. Studies show children that already have aggressive tendencies prior to playing video games will be aggressive by nature. Furthermore, researchers discovered that the length of game play and the competitiveness of the game can have more effect on the violent behavior than the type of game being played. It is too complicated to determine how violent video games affect children because there are many variables that can cause different results that would have an effect on the outcome. On the other hand, it is true that children who play violent video games generally experience an increase in aggressive thoughts, which in turn, develop or boost their aggressive behavior. There are immense studies conducted by experts regarding violent video games, which further prove their negative impact on children.

It’s appalling to see that many children today have been negatively affected by playing video games. These children may spend a long time playing till they hear their mom or dad say something like: “Enough! It’s time for you to find something better to do!” The child might find this useless and might not understand the main purpose, but they don’t realize that it’s good advice even though he or she was just about to crash through the next level. Too much of anything is just too much. Parents should never permit their kids to play video games because video games cause more aggression, real-life violent behavior, and will likely result to children having difficulty distinguishing reality from fantasy.
