For centuries have past and as humans evolve from time to time, humans have been developing non-stop while making incredible breakthrough through every single fields, most noticeably, in the scientific, technical and engineering sphere. Because of the above, people’s daily life have become more and more convenient as new inventions are made and used. However, for our life has become much easier for us, we are making disastrous effects on the environment and the ecosystem. Even though benefits from manufacture, different industries, economic and others might have been more than just numerous still it will never repair the permanent effects that humans have done to the water resources. Namely the unsolved dead fishes case in Vung Ang, Vietnam, which has caught a lot of interest of foreign press. It is said on the national news that over 30 millions tons of dead fishes were collected by citizens who live near the coast of central Vietnam. In fact, according to some source of news, it is said that fishermen have reported to Vietnam government that there is a pipe illegally pumping sewage out of the ocean and describing to be a yellowish stinky chemical waste that is suffocating when inhale, even so this new government seems to have again failed its people for have not been able to succeed in the investigation of finding out the cause of this incident as further information about the case is still a mystery to us all. As well as another devastating impacts, the Citarum river in Indonesia, for hundreds years, has become attached to the daily life of about 30 millions residents who live in areas surrounding the river. More worryingly, we don’t only pollute water resources directly but also indirectly, for example exploiting groundwater, making countries like Singapore becomes extremely lacking of fresh water making it hard for government to buy water for an unreasonable high price from neighboring countries or overuse of pesticide in agriculture affecting our health and to the ecosystem. Therefore, to me, I think that it is still very saddening that to this day, many leaders who have big influences and a global voice are still denying the fact that climate change is happening as they fooled themselves with their own width of knowledge when only looking at our life today not tomorrow. As I quoted a line in “Mermaid”, a movie directed by Stephen Chow, "If there's no clean water to drink and no clean air to breathe, what can you do with all this useless money?", this sentence, in my opinion, means if we don’t preserve our pure resources now, and letting it runs out by time, then what is the target of chasing your purpose and pursuitting your dream. As a result, I think this problem should be taken more serious by leaders to be a good model for their citizens later then, also I think it is also crucial to not only carefully educating
