Does violence on television has lead a real life violence on our society? It has becoming a topic of debate for several years until now whether violence that portrayed through television programmes causes a real life violence on the society. Nowadays, not only adults and teenagers, but also children, get attached and obsessed on television programmes. Some research shows that violence on television does has a surprisingly negative impact on the community especially among the youngsters. According to Newton Minow, children will watch anything, and when a broadcaster uses crime and violence and other shoddy devices to monopolize a child’s attention, it’s worse than taking candy from a baby.
Does Violence in the Media Cause Violence in Children? Children are like an empty white paper that can save anything on it. Violence in the media can affect people of all ages, but children will be affected the most and media will control their way of thinking and getting information. Since the early 1960s, research evidence has been accumulating that suggests that exposure to violence on television, movies, video games, cell phones, and on the internet increases the risk of violent behavior on the viewer’s part just as growing up in an environment filled with real violence increases the risk of them behaving violently. “In the current review this research evidence is critically assessed, and the psychological theory that explains why exposure to violence has detrimental effects for both the short run and long run is elaborated on”(Anderson).

Bullying Can Be Prevented Bullying is a form of violence to pick on victims because they are different from their bullies, have insecurity/jealousy or home problems. The hate towards their victim has something to do with the victim having an unusual gift or being intelligent the bullies has yet to become. It is important that this behavior should be prevented or it will become worse. Bullying is one of the main issues public and private schools have to face on a day-to-day basis. When the bully takes it too far, the victim snaps and retaliates by fighting him/her back physically or verbally.
Continued exposure to killing or maiming living targets creates insensitivity towards pain and violence, leading to aggression and violence in teens in their daily lives. It is a major obstacle that many teenangers face, it includes being called unpleasant things, people posting negative comments, and sending pictures to someone through their screens yet not saying it to their face. Teenagers are the main target of getting bullied through social media today, Jung agrees when he writes "kids especially are vulnerable to the practice of cyber-bullying in which perpetrators, anonymously or even posing as people their victims' trust, terrorize individuals in front of their peers" (Jung). It can also make those being bullied develop mental health issues which can then affect them later in life. When you get bullied it can make you think of yourself in a negative way, could also possibly make you think you did something wrong, or make you stop and think that you are different than everyone else. It can lead to depression and many other mental health issued.
