Nelson Mandela’s legacy began to form from the moment he was born. Nelson Mandela was born in Mvezo, Transkei, South Africa on July 18, 1918 (CNN Library). His birth name was Rolihlahla, which means troublemaker or “pulling the branch of a tree” (Mandela Foundation staff; Biography.com). Mandela was first given the name “Nelson” by one of his teachers. His parents were Nosekeni Fanny Mandela and Gadla Henry Mphakanyiswa (CNN Library).
If Martin Luther King Jr. did not have the courage to speak out, the world we live in today would be very different. In America, Martin Luther King Jr. is known as the leader of the civil rights movement. Martin Luther King Jr changed the world by ending segregation, so people of all races will be equal. During his trip to freedom, he risked his life and hosted protests and boycotts to gain freedom for all African Americans. Because of his actions, everyone in America is welcome and treated the same.
Throughout his speeches and protests, he even elaborated on how insignificant violence and harm was in hurting others, besides physically. King believed in “peace, no violence, and unity between all” (www.biography.com). In contrast, Malcolm X was all for violence. Malcolm X was born into a Muslim household. He relied heavily on his faith and was extremely influential towards pushing others to join the Islamic community.
Imagine a man who valued democracy and equality more than anything and had done very brave and tough accomplishments for his nation. That man fought against apartheid hat forced dark and white people to live in separate areas by putting strictly regulated rules to provide that. That man was a great leader and he was called Nelson Mandela. Nelson Mandela was born in 1918 and closed his eyes to this world in 2013. He was a black nationalist.
In fact, the night the house caught on fire a friend of the sodders had seen the kids in a car driving away from the fire (The Sodder Children Mystery). Furthermore, a week after the fire at a dinner a waitress had said she had seen the children with some adults, she could not remember how many, and she was not allowed to talk to the children but the children all looked very upset and sad (The Sodder Children Mystery). COnsidering how many people said they saw the kids after the fire it is no wonder why they think they were kidnapped. For example, a woman who had worked at a Charleston hotel whoahd seen the childrens photos said “ she had seen four of the five a week after the fire.” and also “ The children were accompanied by two women and two men, all of italian extraction” (16 of the Strangest Unsolved Mysteries). Another example is a manager at another hotel said he also saw the children with 4 adults and all speaking italian ( Sodder Children).
