PROJECT -2 GLOBE GLOBE stands for Global Business Excellence and is the largest Program Nestle has ever undertaken. It is also the most important tool that can bring this Company from the CHF 100 billion dimensions into the CHF 150-200 billion dimensions. GLOBE has been implemented in three Pilot Markets end of 2002 through beginning of 2003 and completed in 90% of Nestle’s businesses be 2006. However, GLOBE will constantly evolve, GLOBE will never end.

SAFETY:
Safety is the “buzzword” in Nestle. No compromise with safety is accepted. Safety personnel look after safety aspects. Safety team organizes different program like Safety Day, Quiz &Slogan contest on safety topics etc. to create awareness regarding safety. Safety can be broadly classified into:

1. Equipment Safety: Always follow operating instructions and supplier guidelines.
2. Personnel safety: Always use safety tools such as safety goggles, gloves, gumboots aprons etc. when working with acid/alkali.

NGMP:
NGMP is the acronym for “Nestle Good Manufacturing Practices”. All sorts of manufacturing practices come under the aegis of NGMP. Proper hygiene and safety is maintained in all manufacturing processes.
