The theme of Rocket Boys is to never give up because no matter what happens, it will be worth it in the end. This theme is important because a lot of people could learn from it to succeed in what want to do in life. At first, Sonny wants to give up because no matter what him and his friends did to improve the rockets, they didn’t turn out how they wanted them to.
