When thinking about someone's character, or who they are as a person, every trait has its purpose. Character could be friendly, humble, or even courageous; but it can be troubling and rude as well. There are many facets to every person and their personalities. Though the only character that matters is that of what makes a person them.National Honors Society, a group of individuals who have the pillars of scholarship, leadership, service, and character; symbols of excellence within the school and home communities. When I think of humility and what it means, I think someone who is respectful towards others who is humble, kind and puts everyone else’s need above their own. Someone with this trait would push aside whatever they might be doing at the time and see to that the others need. To be humble you do not rub in others faces when you have something or do good, but rather be kind and respectful as they might not have the same chances as you. For me this would be when I help out at the soup kitchen in Camden with Chef S. or when i help out in my church with the children's ministry. How people don't care to think about themselves but only the wellness and needs of others. This is something I strive to do every day for it is what makes a better person and a better tomorrow for everyone. What is life when there is no one there to help? When a person is all alone hungry and cold? All that matters is any such service is to help, benefit others for no reward and no working towards one either. For someone to posses this trait is for them to be kind and to understand how there are those out there less fortunate who need help from others.
