Out of the two world wars, World War II is known to be the bloodiest and brutal war. The main reason this is to believed is because to the Holocaust. The Holocaust was the time period where many were persecuted for their beliefs and race. Hitler is who is to blame for the Holocaust, he is the one who organized all the horrific things done to the people who did not fall under his Master Race. Despite the many theories about the purpose of the Holocaust, the real purpose make those who weren’t members of the Master Race fear the Nazi Regime, to force them to obey the Nazi’s without question.
Night: Dehumanization “He was so terrible that he was no longer terrible. Only dehumanized” (F. Scott Fitzgerald). Jews were treated so badly that they began to act terribly but eventually they reached the point beyond repair and it was all due to dehumanization. The Holocaust took place in WW2, it was a horrific event that killed millions of Jews. Many Jews were taken from their homes and were killed, or were treated less than animals until death of starvation or exhaustion.
Inhumanity and Cruelty in Night Adolf Hitler, the Nazi dictator of Germany, conducted a genocide known as the Holocaust during World War II that was intended to exterminate the Jewish population. The Holocaust was responsible for the death of about 6 million Jews. Night is a nonfiction novel written by Eliezer Wiesel about his experience during the Holocaust. Many events in the novel convey a theme of “man’s inhumanity to man”. The prisoners of the concentration camps are constantly tortured and neglected by the German officers who run the camps.
Slavery and the Holocaust has a lot of similarities. Some similarities are people were mistreated because of their race/religion. Both slavery and the Holocaust were tortured or beaten in some kind of way. Some lives were even taken. I think that Slavery would be worse fate because it lasted a very long time.
Many wanted and even attempted to regain their freedom, just as Aung San Suu Kyi did in Burma. Hitler persecuted Jews, homosexuals, and Gypsies. He thought Jews were an inferior race and a threat to racial purity and community. He started killing Jews and putting them in concentration camps to stop the threat. They started taking away the Jews rights, starting with stripping Jewish lawyers and doctors of their clients, dissolving businesses, and confiscating property.
To emphasize on the statements above the Holocaust caused approximately 6 million deaths of innocent Jews and other “unsatisfactory” members of society including the handicapped and gypsies. In the upcoming paragraphs I plan to highlight the detrimental effects of the “Final Solution” had on the majority of the Jewish Population and the heinous crimes that were directly targeted towards the Jews who were unfortunate enough to be placed in the Nazi work/ death camps.
The Holocaust and the Armenian Genocide are the two of the most tragic deaths of the world. The Holocaust is the most impactful genocide today. While both are tragic and sorrowful the Holocaust’s time period, death count, and location is why it’s most impactful today. The Holocaust occurred in Germany after World War II. This was easily kept silent, because there were so many bypassers.
Essentially, the ¨Stolen Generation¨ is much like the Holocaust. There are many similarities between how the Aboriginal people were treated and how the Jews were treated in the Holocaust. Likewise they both are put into these institutions in order for their ethnicity to be wiped out. The children were starved and left cold in the winter. The children in the institutions were harshly punished.
Argument Essay RD Are people really good at heart? No, it was ironic how Anne, in “The Diary of Anne Frank” stated “In spite of everything, people are good at the heart.” She said that when she didn’t actually know what was going on outside of the annex, millions of Jews were being killed, because of Hitler and the Germans. People are bad at heart. While some people are good at heart, no amount of good, can overcome the amount of evil in this world. People are selfish, people are treated horrible because of their religion, culture, race, etc.
In the past, innocent people got persecuted by the hands of other individuals because of hatred. These terrible actions started because of the pure hatred, lack of knowledge, and people didn’t fight back. Since, this happened people have lost their lives for example 9/11, Pearl Harbor, and shooting that is going on. “If we learn nothing else from this tragedy, we learn that life is short and there is no time for hate”. Nazi ideology started Propaganda causing discrimination and hate which justified genocide, which led 6.3 millions Jews killed.
