IB Times reported that Dobrev is about to star in a movie called "Arrivals," which is a story about coming of age and is set to film in South Africa by the end of this year. According to Deadline, the movie will revolve around the character of Calvin (played by Asa Butterfield), who dropped out of college and worked as a baggage claim associate in the city of Cape Town. He will then find himself in love with Izzy (played by Dobrev), who is an American flight attendant.
