The No Name institution is a Danish Stud Farm, which also serves as a part time institution for prisoners from the age of 14-18 years. The young adults all chose to go there, as in there’s no force put onto them. They have worked with it since 1992, and it is still going on. They take in youths with addictions, such as drugs, as well as some with lack of affection, a history of vio-lence, and overall they take in a large range of people. They do not necessary have to be criminals. The institution is as mentioned earlier, a horse stud and a farm. The young adults taken in will help care for the various animals (such as horses and pigs) as well as basic farm work. This helps the youths to learn how to take responsibility, as well as starting their days early, instead of snoring it away. …show more content…

My overall opinion is that this institution could easily be the solution for teaching young adults how to function in society, well at least the hard working part of it. On No Name they have a feeling of becoming close, almost alike family. This will probably help the ones who chose to be there due to having no affection from their families, maybe some of them are used to shouting in their homes, and now an almost harmonic atmosphere suddenly surrounds them. This is why No Name is such a good idea, maybe not for violent criminals, but for teaching young adults how the world actually works.
