We are very excited to inform you about an opportunity to be involved with United Way of Abilene. With your help, we are able to better the lives of hundreds of families in Abilene. As a non-profit organization, our main goal is to help families specifically in Abilene by providing better resources that may not be available without aid. Our mission is to improve education, health, and income for families who need it. Only through the help from people like you are we able to achieve these goals. Over 2.6 million volunteers have served through United Way in some capacity to better their local communities through numerous partner organizations. They focus on what they call the "building blocks," which includes education, income, and health, all working together to improve the lives of everyone they interact with. United Way realizes that everyone has different needs; whether it is sacrificing time or resources and gives ways for everyone to make an impact.

While United Way serves all over the world, United Way of Abilene focuses on 19 West Texas counties. United Way of Abilene partners with numerous local and global companies that perform varied services which includes the Alzheimer 's Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls club, and many more. Many people have a desire to make a difference in the lives around them, but do not know how to take that first step. United Way is able to bridge that gap in order to mobilize volunteers to improve their communities.

In order to raise awareness for United Way of Abilene and their purpose, we are putting on a charity concert that is funded by donations from the community and by donations from partner organizations and companies.
