I am deciding to apply to the University of Wisconsin-Madison because I am intrigued by the opportunities the university has to offer. During my time at UW-Madison I hope to participate in intramural sports, get a job, receive an excellent education, and much more. The city life offers a diverse culture and allows you to learn about and to appreciate life.
As I want to be a part of the nursing program I would utilize the opportunity to work at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and to work alongside other students trying to achieve the same goal as I am. UW-Madison has one of the finest education systems in the country, and I am guaranteed to receive an excellent, yet unique education at this university that is not comparable to any other school. Through dedication and hard work, I intend to become a registered nurse at UW-Madison. Becoming a registered nurse is a major goal for me because I have always had the drive to help people. Also, my mother is a registered nurse and inspires me to follow in her footsteps.

Out of all of the intramural sports that UW-Madison has to offer, I would love to join soccer, basketball, and floor hockey. These sports will help me stay active and healthy and will also help me learn about time management and balancing my daily schedule. They provide you with an opportunity to meet new people and develop relationships across the entire university. As Badger football has been a large part of my life, going to support my fellow Badgers at a football game at Camp Randall would be an experience like no other. Not even words can describe what transpires at a Badger Game; you need to experience it for yourself. Every second is entertaining and there is never a dull
The outstanding nursing program is what initially drew me to attend SIUE. My goal at SIUE is to harness these qualities in order to help people in a time of need. I yearn to care for people who can not fully care for themselves on their own. I hope to be a part in helping patients return to full health and get them back to their everyday lives once again. Attending SIUE and taking part in the nursing program would allow me to graduate college with incomparable credentials and provide me with a number of available jobs to pursue in the work

In studying Registered Nursing one will find that they have to be compassionate and want to care for others. Registered Nurses assist physicians with suffering patients of any medical condition. They help to decide the patient’s medicine, treatment, recovery, and educate the them and their families on post-medical treatment. They need to have bedside manner, and be able to prepare patients for surgery. Registered Nursing careers range anywhere from critical care, oncology, mental health, to an everyday school nurse.

My Intent to Be a Nurse Practitioner Coming from a third world country where there aren’t many opportunities for work and funding for education, proceding to nursing school was a grand opportunity. The privilege to attend a government subsidized school where top students in the region compete to get into the program that allowed only 60 students per year was indeed a blessing. As clinical rotations began, what was once considered a mere opportunity evolved into a true passion for caring as I truly love and enjoy nursing and helping people.
“These abilities are essential for today 's professional nurse who must be a skilled provider, designer, manager, and coordinator of care (AACN, 2010). My goal is to be the safest nurse I can be and deliver a high quality of care to all of my patients. I would want the same if I was the patient. Introduction: As a first year student I have very specific goals in mind that I hope to achieve through my work in college. My main hopes for the future are that I pass all of my exams in the coming years, graduate and receive my honours degree in general nursing, become a registered nurse and finally get a job as a nurse. As a child, I dreamed of acquiring a career in Nursing. I was always fascinated by the amount of respect that nurses received during my doctor visits throughout my childhood. There are many reasons why I chose to major in Nursing such as the ability to take care of someone, the money and benefits that the career offered, as well as job stability and flexibility. On of my main reasons for pursing Nursing is the ability to care for someone other than myself.
What is a better way to spend your life than helping people in need everyday? I plan to attend the college of UAB, the University of Alabama at Birmingham and study nursing. A Nurse provides medical attention and nursing care to patients in a hospital, a home, to people who are suffering from chronic or minor physical or mental health. To become a registered nurse I need to study, work hard and continuously learn to add onto my degree. To be accepted into UAB, I must have a minimum GPA of 2.25 and ACT score of 20.
I have been interested in the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire ever since I heard about the excellent achievements in their nursing program. I kept seeing nurses with an Eau Claire degree and a plethora of knowledge and experience that comes with it. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire caught my attention then but all of the different features of the college held my interest steadfast throughout my high school years. Every since I was a child, I knew that I wanted to spend my life taking care of people and helping them. As I started searching through lists of colleges I made sure I started at the best and when I looked into nursing program and my CNA teacher suggested this school for its nursing degree.
I particularly enjoy women integrating into society. It brings me joy to know that I have made a difference in someone else’s life. I know that there will be challenges ahead, but I have the faith, potential and determination to reach my vision of becoming a nurse. I also believe that nursing is highly competitive, and rewarding at the same time.
