I can continue, even after graduating, to always complete tasks that I commit to, especially in my future career. I’ve found that if I don’t completely a commitment or complete it as best as I could, I feel guilty and disappointed in myself, because I know what I’m capable of doing and I won’t accept anything less than that. This theme relates well to my next theme, strategic. When it comes to assignments and tasks, I like to look for the best route to get it done. Both themes don’t allow for unclear or failing paths, but they look for the most effective path to ensure the task gets accomplished.

The future is likely to bring more technological power that will yield a vast quantity of information and stored data. The healthcare sector is likely to benefit from modeling systems, decision support systems, expert systems and artificial intelligence. However, the greatest benefits shall not come from the individual tools but from the information made available by these technologies. While advanced practice nurses are on the rise to help ensure that all patients have available providers, the role of the doctoral nurse practitioner (DNP) is imperative to healthcare. DNPs will make a dramatic impact on health policy by nursing education and improvements in patient care in health settings and this will help decrease the gaps within accessing healthcare (Sawyer-McGee, 2016).
