The delegate of the republic of Belarus is deeply concerned of the issue of Hunger and the devastating impact on the life and health of people around the world. Currently, people all across the Globe especially people in Low Economically Developed Countries suffer from not getting nutritional food. A huge population of the people who are hungry are in developing nations where 12.9 percent or more don’t have balanced food. Just in Asia there 281 million people people that One in every nine people in the world get very little food and are undernourished, that is about a shocking number of 795 million people in the world.are under fed and don’t intake healthy food. Later their goal was “to improve equity in health, reduce health risks, promote healthy lifestyles and settings, and respond to the underlying determinants of health.” The United Nations Development Program was established in 1966 and their second goal was to get rid of hunger. The human Rights #25 states that “Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and of his family, including food.” In order to achieve #25, the Zero Hunger Challenge was launched by United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in 2012 with an objective to end hunger, eliminate all forms of malnutrition, and build inclusive and sustainable food systems. People accepted this challenge to inspire people around them thereby creating a chain to attain this common goal. The goals of the Zero Hunger challenge are Zero stunted children less than 2 years, 100% access to adequate food all year round, All food systems are sustainable ,100% increase in smallholder productivity, and income Zero loss or waste of food. This designates why the country as whole does not get harmed of food shortages or quality of the food. Belarus has a really good mortality rate and there has been an enormous decrease in stunting and wasting of children under the age of 5. In general Belarus has no issue on hunger due to the fact that the government has set precautionary measures to help solve this major issue. The precautions and food security of Belarus was set up by the National Food Security Program in 1998. In spite of the good statistics on this issue for Belarus, they need better agricultural methods to get closer to exterminate any possibility of hunger and maintain the zero hunger goals. Belarus understands that the success of the fight against hunger also depends on the sustainable management of natural resources and ecosystems. . The Belarus government focuses mainly on efficient agricultural policy and strategy and is no longer a monopoly making way for a flexible market infrastructure in the country. In conclusion, Hunger as a whole is not an disturbing issue in Belarus but this is still an issue in some parts of belarus which needs some immediate action to help people get access to balanced
