Obesity has easily become one of the greatest and rising health issues, not only in America, but globally as well. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than one-third (36.5%) of the adult population in the United States is considered obese. This statistic shows that obesity is actually very common among adults. Not only that, but it is a very serious health issue, and also a very costly one.
