During the French Revolution it changed many things and as well as people. Many people from the middle class struggled as the French Revolutionaries' were plotting some changes. In the French Revolution many causes happened like many unfair conditions, the Monarchy being thrown, and the ideas from the enlightenments. A cause for the revolution to start was that middle-class people start to struggle, unfair conditions, and taxes.in document 1 it says, "the poor people seem very poor indeed." (document 1).
France's issues were much more ingrained. The country was bankrupt, and only supported on taxes of the 3rd estate. Clergy and nobility (though the richest) were exempt from paying. Those taxes were also extremely high, and especially a burden for the poorest of the poor. Other problems like famine contributed to the growing rage of the 3rd estate.

The industrial revolution caused a massive influx of farm workers into urban cities, their farms having been modernized by the seed drill, they came looking for work. mainly unskilled and semi-skilled labor like the textile industry or coal mining industry. After, workers began to demand a higher working condition and higher living condition. People began advocating government reform on things like work hours and child labor, forming things like unions. Some supporters of more radical ideas advocated gender equality and electoral equality, saying that was vital to better life in the working class.
Throughout history, peoples have been pushing for their own rights for many things and reasons, some praised as rational and humane, while other attempts were booed as irrational and controversial. The Haymarket Square Riots in Chicago was one of those that sparked deep controversy of the labor movement in America pushing for workers’ rights and brought the harsh work conditions resulting from industrialization into question nationally. All of this pressure to grant workers their rights began after the Civil War when American industrial workers started to organize themselves into thousands of labor unions, most notably at that time (the 1880s) being the Knights of Labor (KOL). Many of them ramped up protests against the inhumane working conditions
The main objective of the organization was to unite the farm workers in order to help them deal with their problem in life. The organization movement was inspired by Martin Luther King Jr for his nonviolence philosophy. In 1965, in union with a Filipino organization known as the Agriculture Workers Organizing Committee to create the United Farm Workers Organizing committee and made a strike against Delano’s grape growers. The main purpose was to raise payment to $1.4 per hour or $.25 per box. The purpose of the strike is pretty clear with help gather more than 5,000 people to help the union all over United States.
The early 1900s were a time of widespread social and political change in America. During this time, many Americans adopted new, more modern ideas about labor, cultural diversity and city life. Some of these Progressive ideas were brought about by the need for reform in the workplace due to the grown of large companies and rapid industrialization. Not everyone supported the ideas of the Progressive Movement, however. Anti-Progressives, especially in the South, preferred traditional, rural lifestyles, and a slower, simpler way of living.

On August 28, 1963, hundreds of thousands of people marched to support freedom. They marched up and down Constitution and Independence avenues in Washington D.C. before the long awaited speech. They wanted to listen to the dream that Martin Luther King Jr. had, and they wanted to be the people to make that dream real. The March on Washington was an important part of the Civil Rights Movement, including the “I Have a Dream” speech. The effects of this event can still be seen today, and have changed how our nation has developed.
They represented the common folk most of all the farmers. The movement was against railroads, bankers, and corporations.

New York City is seen as a beautiful place to visit but the reality is there’s an ugly side to the city and it’s known as homelessness. In New York it is so common to see a homeless person in the train station or on a train and on the streets sleeping. This problem has been increasing ever since the Great Depression and we need to do something to decrease the number of this population and put a full stop to it. The majority of the New Yorkers just walk past them and instead of giving them left overs they decide to throw out the food and keep moving. Not only are these people suffering due to hunger, extremely poor hygiene and inhumane living conditions but they are also victims of assault and discrimination.
The issue of homelessness in America has been evident since the early 1600’s. Across the country men, women and children spend their nights on the streets not knowing when or if they will ever find a permanent home. States and federal officials or city councils have tried to alleviate or at least reduce the number of homeless over the last several decades at a city, state or national level but it continues to be an ongoing problem. There is a multitude of factors that account for the growing homeless population that affects each state in the country differently. Though there are many contributing factors that contribute to the amount of people living on the street at any given night in the U.S.
They believe everyone should be paid an equal amount. Although or nation is in a lot of debt the U.S. Government could help the situation and increase minimum wage and that will then slow many people to pay taxes. In some cases the federal system has some control but not all. Although the issue addressed is still underway if the protesters get their way it will serve the public good by allowing many of the people to pay taxes, put food on the table, and pay bills.
