Simpson started his fame with his football career, it all started as a two-time All American halfback for USC Trojans, setting NCAA records. O.J. Simpson won the Heisman trophy in 1968. He's lucky he’s good at football because his grades were not that good, and that decreased his chance of getting into college. He joined the NFL in 1968 he played for the Buffalo Bills, he did not excel until the offense shifted more to the running back throughout his NFL career his nickname was the juice. In 1973 he became the first player to rush for more than 2,000 yards. “O.J. Simpson Married a woman named Marguerite L. Whitley on june 24, 1967. They had three children together Arnelle, jason, and Aaren. Daughter who was born in 1977, drowned in the family pool a month before her second birthday. Almost a year later O.J. Simpson and his wife Marguerite divorced in 1979 while he was still married to his first wife.
