On April 15, 2013, in Boston, Massachusetts the Boston Marathon Bombing occurred during a marathon which was a very devastating day in the United States , there was also two bombs that went off close to the finish line. Also, the Marathon is always held during Patriots’ day to honor the war. The Boston Marathon Bombing injured around two hundred sixty-four people and the explosion of the bomb killed three civilians also, there were fourteen people who were amputated. The bombing had two suspects both who were brothers and later on in 2012 their family emigrated to the United States. Political actions taken by the United States in regards to the Vietnam War caused an uproar of controversy in the 1960’s. The city of Madison, Wisconsin became grounds for mass protests against the Vietnam War. Over one million lives were lost in the 20 years of war. Many protested these tragedies at the Capitol in Madison. While their protests were seemingly peaceful and respectful, the retaliation was not. Police officials sent to limit protesting retaliated aggressively, causing even more controversy. On April 11 1995, residents of Oklahoma City began their day as they normally did. They did not realize it might be their last day on earth. At 9:02am their lives would change forever. The Murrah building was bombed and many people lost their lives. People may have wondered the motive, the bombing, and the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing.

The Oklahoma City bombing was a domestic terrorist truck bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in the United States on April 19, 1995. To comfort the American people and show the families of the people who died that the American people are mourning with them, former President Bill Clinton issued a memorial address. I believe this was necessary and his speech was effective on the grounds that President Clinton was able to create an emotional connection with his audience by ensuring a sense of comfort and giving advice to the many Americans who were astonished by this act of terrorism.

The morning of Tuesday September 11, 2011 is one of the biggest tradgies of all time. On this specific day four airlines were hijacked by an Islamic group that goes by the name al-Qaeda. The attacks took the lives of 2,996 innocent people, injured nearly 6,000 people, and caused at least $10 billion in infracture and property damage. These attacks, also known as the 9/11 attacks, will forever be remebered as one of the most horrific days for so many people around this world.
On September 1, 2001, the country of the United States of America along with the world changed. An orchestrated attack on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and another target- unknown but possibly the White House -put in place by a group of terrorist, made headlines all over the world. These attacks cost the lives of many people in Washington D.C, Shanksville, Pennsylvania, and New York City.
Nearly the whole country watched in horror on the morning of September 11, 2001. As the planes crashed and the towers burned, many thought it simply wasn’t true. They believed that it was impossible that someone could hate America that much. It was true, and it left lasting effects on Americans everywhere. On 11th of September America was in chaos due to an event which shocked the whole world. Two towers fell and America was at war. With people suiciding by jumping from the towers and rubble, mud and debris flying around the streets of New York, chaos thrived and people panicked.
Terrorism causes fear all across the world. People are terrified because of what happens in these attacks. There are many different kinds of fear caused by terrorist attacks. Some react to these attacks differently than others. Many react to these attacks in a constructive and rational matter, this helps to not give the terrorists what they want.
