Liberty, the county seat of Clay County, is one of the many suburbs surrounding Kansas City. Although Liberty was technically established before Kansas City, the growth of the latter has played a significant part in Liberty's growth. Many residents of Liberty commute to Kansas City to work, attend cultural events or further their education. However, this does not mean that Liberty is a bedroom community; it is a self-sufficient community with a proud heritage and a thriving economy. When the owners of residential or commercial properties in Liberty need asphalt sealcoating, asphalt paving, concrete installation, asphalt crack repairs, parking lot striping or other pavement-related services, they often call All Pro Asphalt.

I tell myself, ‘a year from now, I will be on the other side of the fence. ' I am an hour early, walking around trying to familiarize myself with some of the people I’ve seen before. History of The Ionia Fair Grounds The Ionia free fair is a great attraction for not only Michiganders but people all over the US. With many attractions, food vendors, and famous appearances the Ionia Free Fair is one of the best sources for summer fun in Mid-Michigan. However the fair grounds weren 't always fairgrounds. In fact before Ionia was even formed there were quite a few Native American clans around that area including The O--wash-to-nong, The Quab-i-quash-sha, The Cob-moos-a, The Mish-i-min-econ, and The Pish-im-ne-con. One of the final chiefs in Ionia was Cobmoosa a popular Chief along the Grand River.
Growing up in a small town, I have gone to the Mississippi Valley Fair all my life. Nonetheless, the attractions compared to the Iowa State Fair are very poorly put together. The rides at the Iowa State fair are not only larger in size, but also generate a much smoother ride for the riders. There is even one day of the week during the fair when one can buy a wristband and ride all the rides you want. One of my favorite rides that my friend and I went on was probably the fireball.
New York, St. Louis, Washington D.C., and Chicago were all interested in holding the fair. The final decision led to Chicago, and New York. New York raised $15 million for it, but Chicago, raised about five million more due to the president of one of the largest banks in the Midwest, Lyman Gage. Chicago was fortunate enough
In addition to educational exhibits, the fair also provided an opportunity for entertainment. The world 's first Ferris wheel performed on the fair 's Midway, as did a zoo, a fun house, and a swimming pool. Not only did foreign countries send authorized displays, entrepreneurs also accumulated displays depicting life in the villages of less prosperous countries. Many people who went to the fair took side tours to see shows, which had set up just outdoor the fair grounds. The fair made Chicago the nation 's informal capital in the summer of 1893, but by the spring of 1894 the city was again mainly known for its ongoing struggle between employers and workers.
