Olaudah Equiano made this plea. His point in saying this was to call out the people who claimed that they were Christians for their treatment of others. He is saying that if they are truly Christians they should not be treating other people in this way since God said that we should treat others the way that we would personally want to be treated.
I think your analysis is solid. I agree that upon Peter’s death, Martin is the sole property owner. I like how you pointed out that the gesture to transfer Peter’s property to Andrew “contradicts the legal agreement of joint tenancy.” I think there is validity to your assertions that Otis is a trespasser and for Martin to start the eviction process. I also like the suggestion of pursuing a lease with Otis.
In conclusion, not only does she effectively contribute to the conversation regarding the decline of creativity and why it happens, but through her efficient usage of ethos, logos, pathos, and kairos, Manoush Zomorodi gives a thoroughly convincing presentation. Weaving these together creates a favorable argument for why taking time to set aside electronic devices boosts creativity. Overall, Zomorodi created a compelling argument that not only convinces her intended audience, but also those who may have initially disagreed with her.
I found it interesting that NT Wright was clarifying the differences between God’s wrath and penal substitution with reform theologian Thomas Schreiner in this video. I was a little unsure, but this video affirmed my understanding that NT Wright was a unique blend of sweet and sour flavors enhanced by hot and spicy pepper that Thomas Schreiner was hot for him to take in. I agree with NT Wright argument the wrath of God. Why? Because Wright says that the cross was about much more than Jesus absolving us of sin.
Lynn uses the rulings of appellate courts to disprove the myth among pit bull advocates, that pit bulls are unidentifiable. The author begins the article by addressing the case of Ohio v. Anderson, and that it was decided that a dog owner of ordinary intelligence can determine if they own a dog commonly known as a pit bull. Moreover she addresses that pit bull advocates state that pit bulls are unidentifiable and that there is no such thing as a pit bull, and why this argument is not only invalid but misleading and harmful to society. Lynn states that adoption agencies have tried to create different names to signify variating subgenres of the breed in hopes to get pit bulls adopted.

Daniel Garcia TH 1:30-2:50pm March 14, 2017 Advanced Concepts in Criminal Justice From the works of Morenoff and Astor, we are to explain why crime might be higher among second generation immigrant Americans. Though there are many assimilation theories which coincides with this, Portes and Zhou’s theory of segmented assimilation stands up to be the strongest of them all. My reasoning behind it is based on the array of the data from Morenoff and Astor collected in this article and my own interpretation which I experienced first hand. The article shows segmented assimilation branching out to two main scenarios of the straight line assimilation, the positive and the negative. Segmented assimilation is carried though by the immigrants themselves or by their offspring adopting aspects of the culture in which they 're residing in.
In the year 1620, over a hundred people were at the end of their tolerance for having a religion forced upon them. These people set off from England in search of a land where they could escape religious persecution. This trip was to be by boat, going across some of the most dangerous waters. Many people died before they reached what was then called Cape Cod. Once on the land, they faced more hardships.
Driven by the belief that space was bequeathed to them, the Native Americans feel justified in defending their land against the growing encroachment of the white man as the American landscape unfolds. Their motive is the premise that a higher authority has granted them the right to the space, and that the Great Spirit has created the landscape exclusively for them. Fueled by the formation of conflict over land, the Great Ottawa Chief, Pontiac, in his speech at Detroit, seeks to persuade the tribes, including the Ottawa, Huron, and Pottawatomi to agree to resistance. Invoking the words of the Delaware prophet, Neolin, Pontiac recounts the vision which he believes justifies resistance. Neolin urges the tribes to sever all relations to the customs
It is sad so much confusion surrounds Initiative 42, especially when nearly 200,000 Mississippians signed petitions to have it placed on the November ballot to amend the state Constitution. If passed, Initiative 42 will hold the Mississippi legislature accountable for keeping its promise to fully fund public schools. That should be simple enough, but Governor Bryant has done everything within his power to confuse the issue. Is he that two-faced?
Metelanski 2 lied about the scores and then he apologized but in reality he meant to do it because as he stated it “It was for extra credit”. Robert’s point of view on this research was simply “trolling” the people that he did the reasearch on about their “IQ” testing. Later in the story he also gives the test to his Mom and Dad and little did you know he lied to them about the test scores as well. Once again in my opinion Robert’s research did not bring any ethical value to the point of even doing that research. He tested multiple people basically lying to them about their scores and taking advantage of people in order to get extra credit for his “How to be a cop” class.
Texas is a complicated state with profound roots implanted in restricted government power. It is a very conservative state that holds to traditional attitudes and values and cautious about change or innovation, typically in relation to politics or religion. Governor, Rick Perry, within seconds of his speech he states, " millions of Texans…, are tired of Washington D.C,. trying to tell us how to run Texas". Just about every Texan, supports the restricted government in the middle of residents and state.
Hi Kelly, I truly enjoyed your informative presentation. It is obvious that the APA provides effective standards for evaluator to adopt and initiate on their professional life when working on organization program and socially acquainting with individuals interested with the program. The evaluation must be done well with no notions involving negative thought, tricking, or manipulating with intent to override the investigation or miscommunicate with others. Consecutive communicative interaction with stakeholders informing them of the evaluation progress would enhance their motivation and contribution to a long life program. It is true that the evaluator has the duty to salvage participants’ safety and protect them from any harms, and protecting
All of the alternatives are affective for different reasons. They are all quite unique. All of the alternatives suggested will improve deer populations, for better or worse. Antler restrictions and less tags will naturally raise the deer population since there will be less shooting of deer with less tags and hunters are forced to let the smaller bucks go. Shooting less deer in CWD areas and being more selective on areas where tags are distributive seems to be more affective of the problem.
Dr. Bennet Omalu said, “I wish I never met Mike Webster. CTE has driven me into the politics of science, the politics of the NFL. You can’t go against the NFL. They will squash you.” Dr. Bennet is saying the NFL is to powerful and they’re not helping protect their players.
