Weekend sports periods (and, in season, "Monday Night Football") are the only time of the week when men outnumber women in the television audience, and therefore, become the optimum time for advertising products and services aimed at men.” (3) This commercial is a eye catcher for both men and woman. With any commercial in today’s society they are always trying to get you to buy their product in any way possible. You should think about three key things throughout the commercial. One being what is the product, two is how the product performs, and finally how is the company behind the product is trying to pull you in and but their product. The company will use three appeals, these are Ethos, Pathos, And Logos. While logos in a commercial will have a more logical approach, Ethos will have a trustworthy approach, and finally Pathos will impact most people due to the emotional approach.
Dogs are very special creatures with special abilities, we see this in law enforcement through their K9 units and also with therapeutic dogs for those in need. Throughout American history, we have believed that dogs are man’s best friend and vice versa. Our dogs dependent on us to care of and provide for them. Therefore we must try our best to return home safely after a night of drinking. As a dog owner, I can truly say that I believe in this phrase with all my heart.

The company Tide, used these people to "sell" their product to the audience.
Watching the commercial, the intended audience for an adult man with a son. I say that because the main character’s are an old man and his son. This commercial instills values like the past meaning reliving what you loved and also family. It’s not effective because it doesn’t use the Rhetorical Appeals like Ethos and Logos but, it does include Pathos which makes it somewhat good. Pathos is a Rhetorical Appeal that the commercial does portray in many forms.

Known for producing such light beer that lets us all have a great time, when Bud Light’s Super Bowl commercials come out year after year, viewers can’t help but to laugh. In Bud Light’s 2014 “Yoga” Super Bowl commercial though, many didn't find it very laughable. This video takes on sexist ideas and stereotypes that empowers men over women through their gender roles in the ad. Bud Light uses elements such as the gestures of men and women, the clothing they are wearing and the diction spoken by the yoga instructor in this commercial to try and sell their beer to men, their target market, around the world.
The different environments and situations exhibit that everybody is diverse, yet equal. The scene with the puppy and another scene where a father and his young daughter ask Google what sound a whale makes, are especially heart-melting. The other way in which the commercial attracts success is by using micropropaganda. A catchy melody plays all throughout the length of the video.

I’m almost certain that everyone in the United States at one point of time has had this Old Spice commercial stuck on replay in their head. Like many forms of other advertisements, the audience, if given the opportunity would choose to skip over them in their entirety. In the rare case however, some ads have left viewers wanting more and sharing messages conveyed with friends and families. Commercials are now well crafted, sharing a story and impacting one's emotions to influence the views of the audience. The ad presented by Honey Maid is one of many which hopes to address many ideals that the general public has in an ever-changing time where inclusion is applauded and exclusion is not. Commercials such as this raise awareness and help present a controversial topic in a beautiful way to help the audience appreciate and accept a new norm, “the traditional
