Have you ever seen ancient ruins before? The Olmec ruins may be one of the best to visit! These ancient ruins are located in southern Mexico and into Guatemala, specifically between the coordinates of 16˚N and 91˚E. This ancient civilization was unbelievably artistic, making unique sculptures of heads and masks. An interesting mystery today is their name, Olmec, which means, “Rubber People.” The best place to go on vacation is the ancient ruins of the Olmec civilization.

Dr. Bennet Omalu, born in September of 1968 in Nnokwa, Nigeria, is most known for his discovery of Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE). Omalu started his education career at age 12 studying at the Federal Government College in Enugu. When he was 16 he began medical school at the University of Nigeria. As I laid there, head throbbing in pain after coming back for a long day of work fill will many long, stressful hours. It has been many years since I have had a nice relaxing vacation. I just want to get away from my worries and let them just disappear. So I started researched amazing places for vacation. Finally, I narrowed it to down to three. The places I want to go to for vacation are Hawaii, Florida, or the Bahamas.

Before leaping into someone else’s exciting traveling experience, I would recommend doing self-evaluation, an honest review of what you truly appreciate and what you do not care much for.

Traveling with People to People was an unforgettable experience, which changed me personally. I have always thought of going to kings island until i was told i was going to go this summer. When i was told i was going to kings island i was so excited, i had never been to an amusement park or anything like kings island. I was told i had to go to bed really early because if i didn 't i would be really tired, because you have to walk around a lot at kings island and it is a huge park. It took about two hours to get to the park which seemed to take forever but we finally made it there. I had never been on a real roller coaster before so my brother chris figured it would be better if we started off with the wooden rides and work our way up and also we had fastlane passes which let you practically cut the whole line, but we rode all the wooden rides first, the first one i rode was the adventure express which was really cool. And then i rode the rest of the wooden rides and then i went to big rides. My favorite ride out of them all was either the firehawk or the vortex both were super fun.

If I could travel anywhere in the world, it would probably be Hawaii.The main reason I would travel there is because of the many traditions they do. Like hula hooping, luau’s and their many dances.These traditions tie into their super rich culture that take place every year in Maui.

A memorable vacation is one that you can never forget. I never thought I would build houses for poor people. It was one of my most memorable experiences in my life. What made it even more memorable was the fact it was my first time to go to a foreign country to help other people build houses. I cannot recall any other time I experienced so much joy and satisfaction. It was on the warmth of a spring day in March, 2015. After finishing the spring semester at high school, the school gives students a one-week holiday to relax or to go somewhere. A beach trip in the spring is always a good idea for us who live near the sea, but this time I was on the bus with my classmates heading to the airport. The school had organized a Habitat Trip to the Philippines, where my classmates and I decided to go to build houses. The trip was such an unforgettable vacation for me with many different emotions such as happiness because of building houses, playing with some poor kids, and experiencing the beauty of nature. Sometimes, when I recall, it seemed like only yesterday.

There is so much to see and do that you miss if you travel exclusively by air or train. Getting out on the road with your partner, a friend or your family is a holiday that you will never forget. People forget just how adventurous it is to get out on the road somewhere unfamiliar. It connects you to the scenery and the local way of life. Too much of the modern holiday is packaged and sanitised for our own taste. We don’t travel across the world to do the same things as we can get up to at home.
