The Era of Online Classroom in Same Room, Teachnolgy

The purpose of education is to prepare our youth to the next level in their life. Elementary schools educate little pupils for middle school or middle school helps them to develop their skills and be ready for high school education. Hence the primary goal of schools including elementary, secondary and college education is to make them ready for jobs so that our youth will be able to join the workforce smoothly in this century, internet era. Therefore, as educators, we have to find ways to integrate computers, internet, smart phones into our instructional process and curriculum in order to complete our mission, preparing youth for life. Information technology can be integrated into our education system in many ways as long as our classrooms or students are equipped with computers. School Principals, board of trustees, grant managers should seek out funding for technology equipped classrooms or moreover an individual device for each student. Online textbooks utilize many tools like videos, easy search, highlights, etc. to engage students in learning and to make learning fun for kids. Moreover, they feature interactive response system to give instant feedback to users. For instance, in my school our middle and high school math teachers use online interactive textbook to assign homework daily. Students go home and try to solve problems online and see immediately whether they got it right or wrong and they have an opportunity to correct themselves, to learn from mistakes at that moment instead of waiting for their teacher’s classroom next day.
