Online dating is relatively new trend. It arose during the late 1900s, at the same time that the internet itself was becoming increasingly popular. Despite being a relatively young industry, online dating has already become one of the most profitable types of business to be found on the internet. Online dating services currently attract millions of users’ every day and the industry as a whole is making hundreds of millions of dollars each year. Online dating provides an efficient way for people to meet prospective partners and to get to know them through emails and chats. They acknowledge that dating has been a mammoth task due to their hectic lifestyle. Some of the issues they are faced with are, they don’t have enough time to meet new people, they are too busy with the children, busy with work and financial constraints just to name a few. In addition to that when these people do have the time to actually meet individual in person time constraints seems to be a problem in some form or fashion. It would have a convenience to them because they can interact with people on their own time frame. They would have an opportunity to meet people living locally that have the same interest and faces with the same issues and also it help people who are not good at dating, socializing and feeling awkward to start the conversation.
