Web Based CMS for CBGS System Abstract: The lifeline of the educational institutes to handle examinations and their results is online examination system. Mostly examination activities are done on paper. The most important drawbacks of a manual system, are speed, precision, and simplicity which can be made more efficient through this system. The activities of an examination cell can be managed effectively with the help of a centralized system thereby making it more accessible and convenient for both students and staff. The most important issue in an engineering student’s life is an examination. A huge effort is required for management of this system. The basic challenge of an institution is to centralize, track and resolve various student issues before and after the examination. Various operations and information can be managed in a flawless manner and deliver the quality result. Hall ticket, result semester-wise and yearly will be generated by this system. Secure remote access and authorization will be provided for the users. The project is mainly focused on the new examination pattern affiliated by Mumbai University recently. Methodology: The Agile development model is also a type of Incremental model. In this case the software is developed in incremental. The developed increments are then released, with each release building on previous functionality. Each release after being developed is thoroughly tested to ensure the quality of the software is maintained.
