The impact she has had on the world definitely helped shaped so many women into how they are today by being the woman she is. She wanted to influence women around the world and let them know that they aren’t alone. She wanted to help children get out of the house and enjoy the healthy side of things with the movement, “Lets Move”. Michelle Obama is an empowerment to some people of the world due to her accomplishments.

Ellen Lee DeGeneres is an American comedian, television host, actress, writer, and producer. DeGeneres has hosted the Academy Awards, Grammy Awards, and the Primetime Emmys. She has authored three books and started her own record company, Eleveneleven. She has won 13 Emmys, 14 People 's Choice Awards, and numerous other awards for her work and charitable efforts. It is obvious to see that Ellen is loved by many people. But why?

I recently had the privilege of listening to Leymah Gbowee, from Liberia, Africa, give a talk on her peace and female activism efforts in West Africa. Gbowee is a very down to earth soul. She started her talk off asking if she should sit or stand and decided to sit and, in her words, “Rest my aching bones and let this be a conversation.” Leymah was born in Monrovia, Liberia and grew up as a child and young woman living with her parents and sisters when the 1st Liberian Civil War broke out. She started out as a trauma counselor treating child soldiers and went on to social work school to become a Social Worker. It was her work in leading a women's peace movement that brought an end to the Second Liberian Civil War in 2003 and she won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2011 for her efforts.

It tells the people a lot about herself. She doesn’t only care for one person, or herself, but she cares for the people. That is what makes a good person. The ability to realize the world is not centered around yourself. She was born in the year of 1947, October 26 in Chicago, Illinois. She is the eldest daughter of Hugh and Dorothy Rodham with two brother named Hugh Jr. and Anthony. She attended Wesley College and graduated as the class president in 1969. In 1964 she campaigned for Barry Goldwater. She was very active in republican groups as a young woman. After doing so she then went on and earned a law degree from Yale University. She went on to marry a man we all know today as Bill Clinton in 1975. Them both meeting each other there.

In todays society, the views of women are very different then what was back in the past. We do not see them as just a stay at home mom anymore, we see them today as equal and hardworking as men are. Many females have done things never done in the past, some examples are education, military, and careers. A female that is a big role model to women is Michelle Obama. She is a hardworking woman who happens to be the wife of the president Obama. She is an example of Adam’s response toward the view of females today. She is not just a stay at home mom, she works hard to make this world a better place. She is not just the president’s wife and actually carries herself as a role model for women. As a wife a preacher, often times, "first lady," is often used to describe my "position" in the church. There are a few things incorrect and misleading concerning the secular term. Firstly, there is not one example in the entirety of the Bible where a woman is given the title "First Lady" let alone the office of such. Secondly, this title gives honor where honor is not due. It esteems the wife of a minister to a position that suggests her fellow brethren are in a way, beneath her; the title itself is enough to question whether or not there is a hierarchy in church leadership. Speaking of leadership, the little also suggests that aside from being a disciple of Christ, the wife of a preacher has much authority in the church as an elder--this is false (See my previous articles: A Women 's Role in the Church Part I, II, III).

Are heroes always fictional?.This year in class, we studied a film called ‘The Dark knight’. It is a film that is focused on the performance of an hero. I had a curiosity of whether the hero actors shown in the film actually perform the qualities of heroism in real life. Therefore, I decided to do a research based on Princess Diana, to see whether she demonstrated the qualities of a real-life hero. I decided to investigate what impact did Princess Diana have on the world. I will also investigate three questions of what influenced Princess Diana to help society?,how have her achievements been recognised? and what are some of her achievements?.
