Last Tuesday i went to Oregano's , a restaurant that is on the university route ,Tempe. It is two minutes away by car from ASU. Oregano's is a 1940's-1950's Italian based restaurant. They are very famous for their thin pizzas, pastas and their sweet which is ice cream with cookies, which are called pizza cookies. The restaurant opens at 11 am and closes at 10 pm. Oregano's provide customers with two options of where to sit , either on the outside tables or the inside. Sometimes it gets crowded so you might need to wait for few minutes. My main criteria is taste; I think taste is what most people look for when they go to a restaurant. I went to the restaurant with my roommate and I asked him to come because I needed someone to taste what i was tasting so I could be sure of what i'm tasting. …show more content…
For appetizers, we ordered garlic bread and french fries with cheese. The garlic bread was almost 2 feet long and was cut into three pieces. The garlic bread was very delicious especially with cheese on top, however , the bread itself was little bit hard to chew. Overall I would give it an 8 out of 10 stars. The second appetizer was french fries, or as it's called "fries o'side". The fries were served with cheese as requested but the cheese tasted bad and the amount of cheese wasn't as much as expected. However, the amount of fries served was a lot. Overall I would give it 6 out of 10
Get started with one of many interesting appetizers, such as lobster corn fritters, blue cheese chips, white truffle lobster mac & cheese and chicken wings. Grabbing a sandwich at lunch is easy with options such as a chicken spinach burger, Cape Cod reuben and half-pound certified
Try the Johnny V Restaurant (625 E. Las Olas Blvd.) for award winning, four-star cuisine by acclaimed chef Johnny Vinczencz which is touted as the “New American cuisine.” For an “upscale menu” of Italian classics, try the Timpano Chophouse and Martini Bar (450 E. Las Olas Blvd.). Yolo’s (333 E. Las Olas Blvd.) lives up to the meaning “you only live once” with its delicious take on American dishes, the O Lounge, and an outdoor patio bar. The American Social Bar and Restaurant (721 E. Las Olas Blvd.) is a glimpse into the social clubs of yesteryear with a chic nostalgic flair on Americana décor and superb hospitality. Las Olas is also home to two highly regarded chocolatiers, Hoffmans Chocolates (920 E. Las Olas Blvd.) and Kilwins (809 E. Las Olas Blvd.), each presenting a top-of-the-line confectionery
When it comes to the vegetarian food there are few who can actually excel in it. I was surprised that a restaurant so cheap can even deliver such good vegetarian food. I came along with my boyfriend to taste the food and I was impressed with the food. I can say that this is the best yet cheap Veg Thali in Etobicoke. Being a traveler to different places I love to taste food.
Holding up to their great service and convenience on hospitality. Cheddars Casual Café is an American Comfort Food and Cocktail environment. Their menus vary from grilled to fried; including lasagna and nachos; any other platters of Northern and Islander style foods as well. The environment is kin to much relaxation from the dim lights and sensual colors. Nowadays tend to only know good food that’s cramped in a bag; but there are some great places to eat amongst different varieties.
For authentic Italian cuisine, try La Tavola Trattoria at 992 Virginia Avenue NE. This is a cozy eatery with exposed brick walls, wood floors, and an open kitchen. Pasta favorites are black linguine with calamari and baked manicotti stuffed with beef, pork, and spinach. Seafood lovers may want to try zuppa di pesce, a dish with clams, shrimp, lobster, and calamari. Enjoy Italian gelato or sorbetto for dessert.
While Altoona, PA has been working hard over the last couple of years to fix many community issues there is still one that the city has not solved. This has been a problem that has been ongoing since before I was born 15 years ago. The problem is that Altoona does not have enough sidewalks and crosswalks for the many people who walk places every day. I believe that people should have a safe place to walk in all cities, and should not have to worry about there not being adequate walking tracks or crosswalks in areas of heavier traffic. People have been saying for years that Altoona needs more sidewalks and crosswalks.
The dinner selections consist of, but are not limited to, shrimp, lobster, crab, fresh fish and clams. If all of these sound delicious, I would recommend the “Ultimate Feast” (my personal favorite). This dish will fill you with tender Maine lobster tail, steamed North American snow crab legs, garlic shrimp scampi and butterflied, hand-breaded crispy shrimp. You have to be mentally prepared to eat to eat a lot of food. The options of sides include creamy potatoes, rice pilaf, fresh vegetables or a crisp green salad.
Da Michele doesn’t only sell pizza it gives an all around italian atmosphere and food. With italian music playing while you eat you would actually think you are in Italy. Da Michele haves great reviews for their pizza and steaks and other cuisine you may like to dine on. Da Michele is a must go if you are a favorite of Italian cuisine. 4.
Observation Project For my field observation project, I sat and observed the on goings on a local restaurant and bar called Prime 91 which is a little south of Akron, Ohio. When I walked in I smelled meat and onions and garlic being cooked in the kitchen, a little bit of the musty smell coming from the old coat closest that’s at the front of the restaurant and a faint hint of bathroom cleaner. In the open room where we sat had a 16 seated wooden bar, wood floors and white table clothed tables. Four rectangle tables were against the west wall that was completely made of widows that looked out on a statute of a little girl standing in a large patch of green ivy and behind her were about 10 parking spots where people could park close to the building.
My favorite restaurant concept is the family style dining, which is called casual dining in the restaurant business. The restaurant that fits that description is Olive Garden, Family style dining at this restaurant chain helped Tuscan style cooking go mainstream. It has priced entrees from menus featuring a mix of classics cuisines, individualized with signature sauces, dips or other toppings cuisine. Casual style restaurants offer table side service, non-disposable dishes, while still keeping the menu moderately priced. Inexpensive, low key setting.
He goes into detail on how the burgers taste no different to that of other restaurants the shakes have a synthetic taste and the fries are almost cooked to point they taste almost burnt (Olmsted 1). Although I love the restaurant I must agree on some aspects of the author writing the review. Not everyone is going to like everything just like anything In-N-Out is no different the individual is either going to fall in love with the chain or they are going to hate it. In addition to the author stating that In-N-Out has low quality food he also says that they have a boring
I love it because of the meat and cheese in it. How it mixes together it just becomes a completely different taste thats wonderful. My grandma used to make it for me when I was younger and was at her house every day of the week, but since I 've stopped going there everyday because I 'm old enough to go home alone and my mom works two
