It mainly faced intense competitions from the Dutch and Italians and their market share was declining at that time. So in order to face the competition the company wanted to reorganize by cutting jobs and reducing departments and these changes led to a huge stress among employees where they found the organization wasn’t a safe place to work. Their aim is to produce better power boats at lesser cost .So in order to get back in position they had a plan of reorganization. Another issue they dealt with was the behavior of Ken Vaughan, who was the Head of design department. He was having behavioral issues. He refused to work with other departments and was not cooperative. Bob Salinger the CEO of the company was also not so effective. Even though he had a big influence on Ken he didn’t take any initiative to change him for the better.
