Life during World War 2 was horrified during the Nazi book burning. Ray Bradbury had experienced that lifestyle. Therefore he wrote his own novel in October 1953. He named his book Fahrenheit 451. Fahrenheit 451 tells the story of a man, Guy Montag. Montag is a firefighter whose job is to burn books. He also burns the book owners' houses if they refuse to give up books. He relates it to the horrible Nazi book burnings however life gets rough throughout the book. In the novel Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradbury strengthens his stance on bad censorship through book burning, emotional words, and negative history. c Also Ray Bradbury shows tone through emotional words spoken by characters. Montag starts to come to realize that actually burning books
