Underwater Hockey is a sport well known for its fitness and skills. Underwater hockey is a sport, not well known, that has been played for decades in more than 20 different countries around the world. The sport is similar to normal field hockey, where the game’s name originated from, as it has the same objective: to score a goal against the opposing team. The game is yet different in means of where it is played, the length of the match and equipment needed to play the game. This game depends a lot more on flair, skill and teamwork together than on brute

Was there ever a time where you were terribly embarrassed because of a minor event; this was me with rodeo. One day I was roping with my sisters and went to go throw my loop but missed the dummy. When I pulled my slack, I noticed I had somehow turned my loop into a figure 8 and had no idea how I did it or how to fix it. I panicked, and my sister had to help me. All I had to do was turn my loop the other way, but I did not realize this because I was too frustrated to figure this out. Many assume that rodeo is easy and for everyone, but in fact it is not. Rodeo allows me to use skills such as speed, strength, courage, and many more to help me later on in my life because Rodeo teaches me to not run from my fears, but to face them. All sections
The space program is a program to pioneer the future in space exploration. The program has consumed about 18.4 billion dollars on trying to explore the barren and empty place they call space. This money that 's used on this space exploration comes from our taxpayers.
The sport that I came to the conclusion to use as my favorite sport would have to be Skate boarding. Skate boarding came out in 1958 and since that day people young and old get out there and shows their stuff. No matter how good or how bad you are. To start out I would like to bring out some of the great skate boarders of all time. Then I would like to discuss different type of skating terrain.
Throughout history it has always been a constant argument between the sexes. Whether or not man was stronger, faster, or more talented than women. Many agree on the fact that men 's sports are overall more entertaining because of the fast pace and aggression men possess that women lack. A sport that is impacted by this notion is women 's lacrosse. Overall men 's lacrosse has less fouls, less stoppage, and is a faster more aggressive sport than the women 's game. The lacrosse society has come to realize this and has began to change the rules of the game. Influenced greatly by Gary Gait, a four time all-american and has won many NLL championships. His presence in the women 's game has helped change the game 's
The men’s lacrosse team participated in the annual IronPigs Suites-N-Treats event on Thursday, October 26 to represent the Cops ‘N’ Kids organization.
Three hundred and fifty children under the age of five drown in pools each year nationwide. Two thousand and six hundred children are treated in hospital emergency rooms for near-drowning incidents. These statistics can bring chills down one’s spine. With drowning being such a threat, it is surprising how many guardians of young children dismiss the importance of their child learning how to swim. Survival swim lessons gives infants and toddlers the skills they need to move through the water independently while incorporating being able to breath when needed. Although some parents are fearful of their child swimming, infants and toddlers should be enrolled in survival swim lessons.

Though we serve thousands, that mission exists because of one child. Israel and Danielle Paskowitz founded Surfers Healing because of their son, Isaiah. Isaiah has autism, and when he struggled with meltdowns and sensory overload, riding the waves with his father calmed him like nothing else.
Christopher Reeve once said, “Either you stay in the shallow end of the pool or you go out in the ocean.” Having been growing up on a boat during the summer for a majority of my life, I have always been surrounded by the ocean. I’ve been exposed to an abundance of different species of marine life, along with their environments. However, the bottom of the ocean has always been a mystery to me; I have never been able to see the surface of the seafloor first hand. Up until today, only about 5% of the ocean has been explored; this percentage will drastically increase due to the Atlantic Ocean disappearing. “A strange force has sucked all of the water out of the Atlantic Ocean,” said a news reporter. “It is currently unknown what force has caused this, but it is thought to have something to do
At Catalina there are many fun activities to do. One of them is kayaking. The camp will provide the needed equipment for this (such as life vest, kayak, and paddle). After getting taught a brief lesson on how to kayak for those who haven't kayaked before, they will take you out into the water. When on your way to Indian Rock you will see a crystal clear water below you, with fish and other marine life swimming below you. When you arrive, they will show you some different types of elegant birds. As you arrive back to shore you will be able to relive the sights you just viewed.
“It takes a village to raise a child,” is a phrase that is near and dear to my heart. It helps remind me of all of the people and organizations who have helped me become who I am today. I believe that it is my duty to give back to the community that raised me, as these people have helped teach me life lessons that I live by. These include figure skating, track & field, and volunteering at the hospital.
The sound of the whistle jolted me into action. I dove from the block, and a wave of silence crashed over me as I hit the water. For a moment, there was a sense of serenity as I swam under the surface. The spell broke as I rose for air. I could hear everyone yelling and cheering. Tuning out the noise, I tucked my head under the water, staring at the pool’s tiled floor. Nearing the wall, I lifted my head to gather a breath of air before my flip turn to start my second lap. Looking up, I saw five of my team members at the end of my lane cheering for me. With a renewed energy from their excitement, I turned and continued the race. After the race was over and I was out of the pool, I took my hard-earned ribbon and scurried back to where my swim
