But the plants are affected by the diseases like Blast, Canker, Black spot, Brown spot, Bacterial leaf Blight and Cotton mold .The objective of this paper is to recognize the paddy diseases. Some of the paddy disease is Blast Disease (BD), Brown spot Disease (BPD), Narrow Brown spot disease (NBSD), which stops the growth and protection of the paddy. Disease can infect paddy at all growth of stages and all aerial parts of the plants as the leaf …show more content…
The list of the paddy disease can be caused by bacteria, fungus etc. The method was designed to be automatically eliminating the noise, human error and reducing the time taken to measure the affect of disease and increasing the accuracy. In this paper we surveyed, k-means techniques for paddy leaf detection and identification. Keywords—image aquisition; segmentation; image preprocessing; classification. I. INTRODUCTION Plant disease problems can be classified into two major parts, plant disorder and plant disease. Plant disorder is in the form of disruption or distraction of the normal states of the plant or plant parts are affected by the soil problems, environmental stresses, or other physical effects. Symptoms of the plant disorders cannot be transferred from an affected plant to the healthy plant. A plant disease is an impairment of the normal functioning of the plant or the plant part caused by disease causing agents such as fungi, bacteria, viruses, nematodes. Plant diseases can be spread from the infected plant to the healthy plant.
TASK 2 Infectious diseases are the invasion of host organisms, (microbes) which can be invisible to the eyes. The microbes are also known as pathogens. A microbe infects an organism (which is known as the host of the microbe). In a human host, the microorganism causes a disease by either disrupting an important body process or by stimulating the immune system to mount a defensive reaction. The pathogen, interferes with the normal functioning of the host and can lead to chronic wounds, gangrene, loss of an infected limb, and even death.
For many years this plant was viewed as harmless and people would let it grow freely on their farms because of its beauty. Its dangerous qualities were severely underestimated and it killed many
(Kudzu Bug). The bugs will gather in large groups and attack a host plant. This is done by sucking the sap out of it weakening and stunting the growth of the plant. If the group does enough damage it can cause extreme defoliation. In China there had been reports of up to a 50 percent loss in their soybean population and production.
Dermatomyositis is an uncommon inflammatory muscular disease, which involves the degeneration of collagen, discoloration and swelling of the skin and underlying muscle. Dermatomyositis is known by it’s distinctive skin rash and muscle weakness. Dermatomyositis affects children and adults, but it usually affects children between the ages of five and fifteen, and it occurs in adults in their late forties through sixties. Dermatomyositis is also more commonly found in females than males.
Paget Disease of Bone Paget disease is a condition that makes the bones grow faster than normal. This leads to bones that are larger and weaker than normal. Healthy bones rebuild themselves by destroying old bone and replacing it with new bone tissue. This process usually slows down as a person gets older.
The afflicted girls lived with people who owned that grain that had the fungus so if they ate it it would cause the
Introduction And Background We perpetually worry perpetually concerning skin disorder and it ought to be this fashion too. nobody would ever need spots and pimples on their face, particularly on their face! which region is that space wherever skin disorder appears to hit the foremost. Our face is constantly exposed to everything around whereas most of the body has the shelter of an article of clothing. It meets the wind, the dust, the humidness and conjointly the utmost exposure to daylight that all told cases are that the hardest issue for skin disorder.
However, after investigation through gel electrophoresis, the three kinds of plants were not identical. This relates to the
When the land becomes heavily gazed or over grazed, this ruins the soil. Due to overgrazing by cattle, the cover of vegetation almost gets removed from the land. The soil becomes exposed and gets eroded by the action of strong wind and rainfall. When the livestock graze upon them heavily, even the root stocks which carry the reserve food or regeneration get destroyed. Now some other species appear in their place.
Lastly, the lab results were evaluated using the Support Vector Machine for classification and the small-scale in-the-wild
Arwa Al Meslat English 211 September 10, 2014 Ms. Lindsay Gail O`Dunn Vitiligo Have you ever saw someone with white spots?. This may occur because of a skin disease. There is a large number of skin diseases related to the change of the skin color like vitiligo. It is well known that many people do not have enough information about vitiligo, or about its symptoms. In the world population there is 1 of 200 suffers from vitiligo, which means 40 million people, or about 1-2% from the world population*.
Vitiligo is a disease that causes the loss of skin color in blotches on the body. It is a condition where the extent and rate of the color loss is unpredictable and can depend greatly on the person with the condition. Vitiligo can affect any part of the skin on the body, and there are no limits on where or how much of the disease can spread (Mayo Clinic). Vitiligo is not frequent in the global population. Studies show that vitiligo has a frequency of 0.1-2.0% in the various populations (Spritz 2003).
Introduction: In this task I will be researching the effect that acid rain has on the rate of plant growth. Acid rain is any type of precipitation with a high pH, with high levels of nitric acids. The reason why I had chosen this topic was because acid rain seems to have a great effect on the effect of plant growth, and plants play a very important role in our ecosystem. Acid rain is a major problem in our environment when we are not able to neutralize the acidity.
Introduction: “Sustainable agriculture is the efficient production of safe high quality agricultural products, in a way that protects and improves the natural environment the social and economic conditions of farmers their employees and local communities and safe guard the health and welfare of all farmed species“ There are three main principles of sustainable agriculture, the three principles are: 1. Economic sustainability 2. Environmental sustainability 3. Social sustainability With the human population continuing to rise, it is vital that the agricultural industry becomes more sustainable to meet the needs of the growing population. One of the impacts of this growing population is an increase in land usage for settlement purposes.
Introduction Plants are a major necessity in the balance of nature, people’s lives, and our terrain. We may not realize it, but plants are the ultimate source of food for almost 95% of the world population so says the National Group of Food. It’s a fact that over 7,000 species of plants are being consumed today. Plants are one of the reasons that we get clean water; as they help regulate the water cycle.
