I responded to 106 Wildridge Road in reference to a civil complaint. Upon arrival, I spoke with Mark and Anna Sanders. Both subjects advised that they paid David Sasser $350.00 dollars to build their son a bunk bed. They advised that Sasser told them that he spent all the money and didn’t buy any supplies. Mark then agreed that he would take Sasser to get the wood that he need, and pay for it.

The New Jersey Supreme Court ordered the New Jersey Attorney General to investigate the police departments of the townships of Bellmawr and Barrington, suspected of "ticket fixing". The investigation showed that in Bellmawr, Police Chief Edward Garrity, a police officer, and a court clerk were involved and in Barrington, three police officers were involved in fixing tickets. Before being questioned all the employees are warned of the following: • Anything said may be used in a criminal proceeding; • The privilege existed to refuse to answer if the answer would tend to be self-incriminatory; • Refusing to answer would cause a removal from their office.

The Atchafalaya River is the third- ranking river on the earth. It’s located in South Louisiana, with its base the gulf coast from the mouth of the Mississippi river almost to Texas, its two sides coming together up near the lock and not including New Orleans or Baton Rouge. The Mississippi river with its sand and stuff has created most of Louisiana and couldn’t have done it by remaining in one channel. If it did then southern Louisiana would be a long peninsula reaching into the Gulf of Mexico. Southern Louisiana is still in its form now because the Mississippi river jumped here and there with an arc bout two hundred miles wide.
On February 26, 1972 the Buffalo creek community was destroyed by a terrible flood. The flood caused many tears, pain and death. In the blink of an eye, people’s lives completely changed; lives were lost, houses were gone and families were destroyed. Buffalo Creek is one of the mountain hollows in West Virginia on the edge of the Appalachians, near the Guyandotte River. The land used to grow warm green grass, but overtime the land became a dark place with debris from mine operation spills.
After reviewing the information that has been provided about the Tennessee Valley Authority vs. Hill court case along with additional findings about the primary purpose for the construction of the Tellico Dam, it has made the questions that are ask in this week’s post much easier to answer. Although, there are some key factors that must be taken into consideration before we choose either side. These factors included that the TVA project was approved to start construction in 1967, David Etnier discovered the snail darter in 1973, this small fish was declared an endangered species in 1975, the Tellico community expected the dam project to generate power, and benefit their economic resources. Also, we have to think about the fact that the snail darter was downgraded in 1980 to a threatened species simply because it was found in other areas of the Tennessee

Before 1942, very little was known about burn treatments. New methods were developed would help in saving many lives during the following years. If a similar structure built today were built in the same way The Cocoanut Grove was built it would definitely go through the same fate if a fire had occurred. If the structure did not have enough emergency doors or had locked ones it would make the evacuation process extremely harder leading people to panic and to several accidents and most likely deaths.
Both the state and federal governments have just declared a state of emergency for Flint, Michigan, yet (“even though” instead of “yet”?) the people of Flint have been without clean drinking water since 2014. After switching the city’s drinking water supply from Detroit’s water to the Flint river, lead infected the water that Flint’s residents rely on due to aging water pipes and polluted river water. This water crisis has not received the attention it requires. In order to solve this problem, it is important to understand how this problem started, how people are impacted day to day, and the long term consequences of this crisis.

The Buffalo Creek Disaster written by Gerald M. Stern helped me understand the different decisions a lawyer must go through to help their clients. The Buffalo Creek Disaster was a man-made disaster that occurred in February 1972. The Buffalo Creek Mining Company’s coal waste refuse pile collapsed, leaving over 125 people dead and 4,000 people mentally distraught. The Arnold & Porter law firm was reached out to by survivors for help and Gerald M. Stern was appointed as the lawyer for the case, who eventually won $13.5 million for the survivors.
Fire plays a significant role in the life cycle of plants as it helps in regrowth. It also encourages the germination of new grassland plants. However, bushfires increases the amount of Carbon Dioxide in the air which is harmful for both individuals and environment. Bushfire also risks the life on animals. Pleasant Bluffs: Launching A Home-Base Hospital Program While analyzing the case on Pleasants Bluffs, the main problem is how will they come up with a proposal for the pilot program for Pleasant Bluffs home-base hospital care and how to manage it.
