AG: It was a dark and stormy night, and the cold rain pelted on the rooftops as I wished it was Christmas time already. It was the night my granddad died; he died early on that day as he slept in his chair. His death reminded me of a better time for all mankind, an undeserved one, a time for a savior: Christmas.
TH: Christmas is my favorite time of the year because it’s true meaning, my family and friends, and the traditions and activities I do.
TS: Christmas is the best time of the year because of the main, real reason Jesus’ birth.
CD: Jesus’ birth is so significant to me because it reminds me of all He has done for me in my life.

CD: I love watching It’s a Wonderful Life because it is one of my favorite movies, and I always find something new about the movie every year.
CM: Last year I found out that I was living like the main character, and I was not focused on family, but on money; so I took it to heart, and tried to change it.
CM: The year before I also was impacted by how no matter what if I have family I can be joyful; so I tried to apply that to my life.
CD: Not only am I able to watch “It’s a Wonderful Life”, but I also always make chocolate peanut butter ritz cookies because of the impact it makes on others lives, and because I am able to eat the remaining cookies after I give them out.
CM: Last year I gave cookies to everyone at my church, and everyone enjoyed them.
CM: Every year, like last year I ate the remainder of the cookies with a glass of milk which is one of my favorite things to do.
CS: Christmas would not be Christmas without It’s a Wonderful Life, and making Christmas cookies because I would miss out on so much
As an outsider of the society, the Grinch doesn’t understand the celebration and resents it as a result, and it quite peeved by the inescapable uproar that it brings. Christmas
In the short story “A Christmas Memory” there is a huge amount of imagery, which helps us as the audience visualize how the characters appear, how the setting looks, as well as the objects around them. With imagery we can picture ourselves in that time period, in the exact situation in which the characters are in. There are different kinds of imagery that can set a different kind of mood. “The black stove, stoked with coal and firewood, glows like a lighted pumpkin”. From this example we can assume that it is that time into the season when it is cold and some people use their stoves to keep warm.
] In 1843, the Christmas Carol was first written by Charles Dickens. In many years the Christmas Carol had adapted like some parts in scripts has changed. Many changes were made but the meaning of the story always stayed the same. I think this play was a thorough play it showed different meanings for people that like different types of plays. Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, the classic story of a time travelling pensioner who sees dead people, is a festive fairytale which has itself become part of Christmas folklore.
In the short story, “A Christmas Memory”, by Truman Capote, a boy relives his most memorable Christmas with his older cousin. During his story the old woman and him both develop strong developments. The use of character to character interaction and visual imagery is key to the suggested theme that the power of memory influences people to relive their lives. One of Capote’s major supporting tactics relies on the clever use of character to character interaction, even when inferred. A certain such example reveals itself early in the story, in which the narrator explains that his cousin calls him “Buddy, in memory of a boy who was formerly her best friend (Capote 1).”

A Christmas Carol Literary Analysis Essay “Today I choose life, every morning when I wake up I can choose joy, happiness, negativity, pain... The Grinch Who Stole Christmas The Grinch who stole Christmas is one of my favorite Dr. Seuss books and one of my favorite Christmas movies. I found 3 things similar to one another in the book and the movie which had the Grinch who hated Christmas, the Who’s who loved Christmas, and the Grinch stole all of the presents and food. One identical thing I found in the movie and book was that the Grinch hated Christmas. If they didn’t put the Grinch’s hate for Christmas in both the book and, he would have no reason to steal Christmas and it wouldn’t have been a very good movie.
People enjoy the story of Santa Clause, because it makes them feel good. Putting “In the Bleak Midwinter” and “Santa Clause is Coming to Town” right next to each other allows for that connection of the jolliness of Santa Clause and the desolation of the

“Those Winter Sundays” by Robert Hayden has much significance throughout it, the poem is generally about an adult reflecting back to his childhood having regrets for not appreciating his father's love. Hayden describes a father to son relationship for the reader. This poem can be similar to the quote “ you don’t what you’ve got until it's taking away” Hayden uses imagery, diction, and emotional appeal to make it relatable to the readers. Hayden writes this poem figuratively using imagery to provide the reader with a vivid ideal for example “Blueback cold” shows imagery of how cold those winter Sundays really were, and “Blueblack cold can also be used metaphorically here to describe the bruise on the child heart from the feeling of thinking he was unloved throughout his childhood. I’m longing for sleep to engulf me back into its warm embrace. My father ruins any hope of going back to sleep as he hollers upstairs that breakfast is ready. Standing up and doing a morning stretch is when I first smell it.
