Paraphernalia Case Studies
INTRODUCTION:
This case involves the suspects being cited and released in the field for trespassing on city property in violation of PC 602(o)-Trespassing and PC 647(e)-Illegal Lodging. The suspects were also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia in violation of H&S 11364(a).
LOCATION DESCRIPTION:
This incident occurred on the south side of the above location.
EVIDENCE:
• (7)-Used hypodermic needles 50ML/ CC, with a clear substance inside. The needles were found in Bouldin’s blue cooler.
• (1)-Used hypodermic needles 50ML/ CC, with a clear substance inside. The needle was found in Cabral’s left front pants pocket.
• (1)-Glass pipe approximately 3 inches in length with a bulb end, resembling a crystal methamphetamine pipe, with a burnt residue inside.
INVESTIGATION:
On 01-10-18 at approximately 1102 hours, Officer Jones #4777, Officer Armendariz #0211 and I (Pasadena PD Hope Unit) conducted extra service at the above location regarding transient encampments on City Property. It

It should be noted that Bouldin and Cabral were not under the influence of a controlled substance.
I cited and released Bouldin in the field for PC 602(o)-Trespassing, PC 647(e)-Illegal Lodging and H&S 11364(a)-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Citation #C432344). Bouldin is scheduled to appear at the Pasadena Court on 02-13-18 at 0830 hours.

I took several photos of the area where the suspects were found trespassing (see attached photos).
