Abortions are some of the most common medical procedures that are performed. Abortions are used to terminate pregnancies. It is one of the most controversial medical field and surgical topics. Many women decide to end their pregnancies for many reasons, but the majority of terminated pregnancies are because the female is young, unmarried, without money, etc. Having an abortion does not change what was done or what happened in the past.
So, believing that such an important choice can be left in the hands of someone who is not even seen as a young adult without their parents’ consent seems to be a bit crazy. Not only that, but the possibility exists that the teenager then has a chance at becoming victim to psychological issues because the decision to get an abortion is frightening. To go along with that is the fact that abortions are still a procedure and with all procedures there are dangers of complications. That is why I believe that children under the age of eighteen should not be allowed to receive an abortion without their parents’ consent. From the mental side of this dilemma there are many aspects to look at.
• Women will die of unsafe abortions if we make it illegal. Pro-choicers believe that if abortion is made illegal women will be pushed to perform unsafe abortions and they will die. Abortion being illegal means that women cannot go to a registered nurse or doctor to perform an abortion unless they agree to do it illegal and because of this woman will be pushed to come up with different home remedies to perform abortion. These home remedies can then kill women. In the world that we are living today women are finding all different remedies and doing different practices to abort a baby and some, maybe most are dangerous ways.
Abortion is a choice that takes away the right for a human being to live and should not be supported because it can also cause greater damage to the mother. Abortion is the deliberate termination of a human pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks. According to the 14th Amendment, “The State shall not deprive any person of life,
Abortion, which is defined as a deliberate termination of a human, is one of the most debatable issues in society. Abortion is about allowing women the right to make choices about when they want to have children, in relation to their age, health, financial stability or if they were raped. There are many reasons to why a woman might want to get an abortion and it should not be up to the Government to determine the personal right of what a woman wants to do with her own body, especially if that woman can not afford to care for the child. Moreover, this argument is a matter of morals, those who see it allowable should be provided with the means to do so but others who don't see it allowable don't have to choose to give up on a child. Those kids who are not aborted sometimes grow up in a destructive environment and their basic needs are not provided. There are many reasons why some people are against abortion, and there are also many reasons as to why some people advocate abortion.
Young adults and college students should not be deprived of affordable health care services. The most popular misconception shared about Planned Parenthood is that Planned Parenthood is not a 'women's health' facility, but rather an abortion facility. Thus, the war to defund Planned Parenthood becomes a war to end access to safe and legal abortions. Planned Parenthood is not all about
Required Immunity Mandatory vaccinations for children in public schools have been the center of much debate since laws were first developed to regulate immunization. Fears from parents about side effects and adverse reactions have steered many away from wanting to vaccinate their children despite the numerous infectious diseases they prevent. These debates have gotten in the way of progression in schools for preventing the spread of disease. To me, the risks of not vaccinating children are far greater than the risks of adverse reactions. Parents who don’t vaccinate their children put them and others at risk because it allows normally preventable disease to continue to spread.
In contras, each year in Indonesia, millions of women become pregnant unintentionally, and many choose to end their pregnancies, despite the fact that abortion is generally illegal. Abortion due to unwanted pregnancy is considered the best solution. Whereas it is the same as solving the problem with a new problem. Like many pregnant women by “accident” in many developing countries where abortion is stigmatized and highly restricted, Indonesian women often seek abortion with harm procedures performed by untrained providers (for example; dukun). Some women already know the negative impact of having an abortion but most women tend to ignore it.
The Supreme court came to a decision that they would keep the law active. Like many, I do not support the legalization of abortions. I believe that ALL lives are precious, and no life should be terminated, simply because they are an inconvenience to the mother. Dealing with going through an abortion because of medical purposes and victims of rape, is a different story. But when a woman thinks her life is more precious, and is too selfish to give the HUMAN growing inside of her, depending on her to nourish it, then that is a feminist issue, I cannot stand behind.
Some might want to make abortions illegal in all 50 states because they feel that babies feel the pain during the process, and that they are tarnishing a completely harmless infant. Some should consider though that banning abortions won 't stop women from having them, they 'll then resort to going to an uneducated individual to have the procedure done. Also their should not be a law telling women what they can and can 't do with their bodies. Abortion should remain legal because fetuses are incapable of feeling pain during the process, banning abortions would increase the amount of illegal abortions, and banning them would limit women 's rights During abortions, most people think that fetuses feel the pain during the process. Studies show that most fetuses don 't feel pain.
It should be the women 's choice (pause). Sometimes they want the child and just can 't have the child because if could kill them or affect their health and the babies (pause). When it comes to teen pregnancy it 's very hard to give a child up for adoption so they feel abortion would be a better answer (pause). Sometimes the girl is just too young and her parents won 't support her (pause). A woman needs to have a choice in what they want to do with their body because at the end of the day it 's the woman 's body, the woman 's life, and the woman 's
For example, many pro life people would say that if a woman doesn’t want the responsibility of raising a child, they should just put it up for adoption (1). This is not necessarily a fair accusation considering that not all women who want an abortion want it because they don’t want the responsibility. Having a child can be extremely expensive, even if you are not planning to keep the child. While pregnant, women have to make multiple trips to the doctor to make sure their pregnancy is going well. Also, the hospital bill for giving birth can be in the thousands of dollars by itself (1).
It will forever be a controversial issue within the views of abortions, but as a social worker, realistically, we have to accept the fact that abortions could be an option for the clients we are seeing. They could have possibly been raped by a family member and choose not to have the baby, so then we would
