Finally, even though he knew he was good, instead of bragging about it and talking himself up, he showed people how good he was. It was beyond doubt that everyone saw he was a modest person.
Another admirable trait that Tillman possessed was determination. He showed his determination when people said he was not the fastest or biggest on the field, but he played with the biggest heart. He also showed determination when he showed that his size is not going to control his playing time. The final way he showed his determination was when was constantly pushing to be the best he could at all times. It payed off when he finally broke the record of tackles for the Cardinals. It was clear to everyone that Tillman was very determined.

Brett Favre Austin VanDenPlas “I, most talented players don’t always succeed. Some don’t even make the teams. It’s more what 's inside.” That is a quote from Pro Football Hall of Fame legend Brett Favre. Favre was a quarterback who played for the New York Jets, Atlanta Falcons, Minnesota Vikings, and the Green Bay Packers, where he is probably known the most.

In chapter 8 of The Pigman Lorraine Jensen, one of the main characters, portrays her thoughts and feelings about the Pigman’s wife Conchetta, along with being spoiled to the point where she doesn’t actually want anything anymore, due to the Pigman buying John and Lorraine almost everything they could wish for. When John had found a funeral bill for Conchetta, Lorraine had already been thinking or running thoughts across her mind that the Pigman’s wife had died. She had even thought about the possibility of Mr. Pignati killing her. The smile on Mr. Pignati’s face could not be returned by Lorraine, because she didn’t understand why he couldn’t come to terms with his wife dying . His smile also seemed to become quite forced.
When he was eleven, his father died, which changed his whole life. Instead of going to school in England, like all other boys his age, he went to a school where he lived. He did not let his lack of proper education stop him. He overcame his rough childhood and became one of the most powerful leaders of all time. Without this man, the colonies would never be as successful as the were.
Additionally, there was even a commemorative postage stamp issued in his honor after his passing.
Colin Powell went down in history as one of the greatest to serve our country. After all, his courage and love for our country made how he is remembered today. Still, everyone wants to be like Colin. And yet, he did it all by this one saying. “What I really wanted was to do the best I could every single day.
Is Jerry Rice worthy of being in the 2010 National Football League Hall of Fame? Many people think so, though some disagree. Jerry Rice deserves to be in the 2010 National Football League Hall of Fame because of his statistics, character, and awards and records. Like many other great NFL players, Jerry Rice has one of the best character there is. There is one story with Jerry and his nephew, Darius.
He even starved himself to show help people. He was a person who put people above him and never gave up on any cause he put his heart into. Never did he show weakness he was strong for the people he supported he was a hero. He didn't have to get better working conditions for those people he didn't have to keep living conditions equal after he made enough to survive he could have given himself so much more but he didn't he keep things equal.
Long before I saw Justin Streichman and George Lamen as Vanya and Spike respectively in the appropriately named comedy “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike,” I understood the dynamic between these characters and the rest of the cast as it was heavily alluded to in the posters shown across campus. In these posters, Streichman stands in the corner of the scene, holding a tea cup and staring away in embarrassment as the people next to him are admiring and enjoying the silly and outrageous behavior of the practically naked Lamen. This one image perfectly captures who these characters are meant to be and how the actors portray them in the play. Vanya is meant to be the more mature, introverted character which contrasts the characteristics of Spike

Colin Powell did 2 tours in Vietnam. He also chose to save his peers from a burning helicopter and was awarded the “Purple Heart” award for saving his peers. But Colin Powell also made many mistakes in the army and he wasn’t exactly the perfect soldier because everybody makes mistakes. Colin Powell also didn’t earn all the ranks which proves my point.
Adam Brown is still one of the most fearless men in history. He strived to be the best he could be. When given a task he
