The work the team has done includes Charlieplexing LEDs and including code for implementing the LEDs, writing code for a reverse Simon game. We also had to make the game play a different song than the one provided, and write code for the LCD to display wins, losses, game length, and the number of games played.

Not so long ago, the honor code system was brought up to the U.S. Senate whether if it’s best to have it input schools to lessen cheating behaviors from students. It was not welcomed at first for those that were against the honor codes and as well of the people in the Senate. Even though after all the revisions and such, some voted to agree to have the codes set in place that would be good enough to have around in school; albeit honor codes don’t always work around schools, and cheating or some type of academic dishonesty will always happen— it’s inevitable. It seems by having these honor codes set in place, it would oppose the cheating and consequences against students. As the ones who have voted for the honor code wanted that safe, confidential, and knowing that their hard work and knowledge wasn’t used against them.

Recieveing this letter that I was inducted to be in the National Junior Honor Society made my heart beat faster than I’d ever keep track of, knowing that I was more of a gifted student. Every heart beat was building up my stimulation about this honor, telling me that I demonstrate scholarship, citizenship, character, leadership, and service. To know that I have all of those traits in me makes me feel more of a part of this society, and has made me begin to realize the considerable things that I’ve done. This oppertunity is great for me because I can expand my inner and outer school activities to show what great things I do in my time. I truly enjoy having a mental achievement in school, knowing that my grades sit at the top of the A’s shelf and hardly sit on level B.
USNA Essay I never really considered attending the Naval Academy until a Navy coach contacted me. I initially dismissed the email, but then my dad talked to me about the academic excellence and character development of the Academy, so I looked into it. In April, I visited the Yard and witnessed the character of the Brigade and the dedication of each Midshipman to becoming the best version of him or herself in athletics, academics, character, and leadership. They all displayed remarkable integrity and were constantly striving for perfection in every action, and I immediately knew I wanted to be a part of that community that would develop my strength in mind, body, and spirit and teach me how to best to serve others.
