Peanuts was a widely syndicated comic strip that appeared on daily basis for a half a century in newspapers from 1950 to 2000. The artist, Charles M. Schulz was renowned because of this strip that managed to become a notable element of popular culture. With the comic strip running for 50 years, Peanuts defined his entire career and creative development as a cartoonist (Schulz and Inge x).
