As i look back at all the accomplishments that I have made to help myself and the community, I learned that all my hard dedicated work has paid off and will follow me in the future. I always told myself that I would somehow be involved in the arts as soon as I knew what my talent was. Once I found out that I could sing I involved myself into programs that helped me learn more things and to get to a advanced level and once I continued in those programs I ended up being a great voice performance major. Once you involve yourself in something you love you should help others also that want to have the chance also. Bringing a service to the arts means that you are a dedicated person to what you want to pursue and what you want other people to
Being cheer captain is a very important job not only is it important, but it comes with many responsibilities. Cheerleading itself is a very special privilege that people all around the world get to have the opportunity to do. Making the cheer team is one of the most exciting times of one’s life but becoming captain would be once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that would be a pleasure of anyone. Becoming cheer captain would give me the opportunity to be a good image to the squad, showcase my leadership abilities, and motivate my squad to spread spirit all throughout the school. When I think of a cheer captain I think of someone who gets along with every member of the team and is well liked by every last person on the team to include the coaches.
My performance in this game has instilled something in me which I will never lose. This game gave me heart, enough heart to never give up in the face of adversity. Now knowing my true capability, I can never be discouraged again on my journey. My future plan is to put on a performance ten times better than my high school performance for all the people who were rooting for me the entire way on a bigger spotlight. As of this game, I will not quit since there is untapped potential I want to prove to the
As a performer, I’m constantly evaluating my strengths and weaknesses. There are a few areas I am confident in, however there is always room for improvement. In regards to my casting, I have the ability to play the strong and feisty female roles, and as a mezzo-soprano/belter, I can sing the songs that are generically written for this type of role. I am a very focused, and determined performer, particularly in a rehearsal setting. I am good at taking direction and willing to try new techniques and methods to see how they can further my training.
She wants me to have a Senior Show almost as much, maybe even more, than I do. And I would hope I could display all the progress I have made and all the
My experience at St.Rita has helped shape me because there are so many opportunities to shape myself. The opportunities they offer help shape you because they help you become who you want to be, whether you want to be a singer, athlete, or an actor. This school has helped shape me to become a compassionate person. Although I have became a compassionate person I will miss a lot of things here at St. Rita. What I will miss the most
This money can then be used to fulfill their desires. In the quest to achieve the goals one should focus on the step by step progress made. The journey will provide satisfaction in achieving the milestones. • Unending desire to win: Many people have this desire that they should always be the best and win in everything that they do. They do not like to be at second place.
I believe that I have so much to offer if I am accepted into UNA’s Honors Program. Every honors program needs students that are driven and motivated to succeed. One of my biggest strengths is my ability to test my limits. I do not believe in settling for the easy route because I know I am capable of so much more.
I also realized you can learn just as much from watching as doing. As I prepare for college, I will carry this into being a better student to my professors. Finally, I am grateful for the huge support system that helped me accomplish my goal. My CORHA family, my mother and father, sisters, and friends were always there for advice and support; this is a blessing that is beyond any price tag. This is only one experience in my horse world that will help me later in life, and I cannot even imagine how much these experiences will truly impact
MUSIC The sound we have chosen is vital to how we build and create atmosphere within the spot. Luckily, we have found the perfect inspiration in the ‘Muppets’. You have to admit it, there is some kind of eternal joy of Muppets singing - something that is hard to fully explain about nostalgia, and childhood, that transports us back to a place when we felt as if the world was still ours to grab with both hands. - something that is really emblematic of that wonderful optimistic energy that inspires us - and hopefully our audience, leading them on to dream up possibilities for the future, with a soundtrack that is so synonymous with the spot that on just hearing a few chords the viewer feels that fuzzy warm sentiment of chance.
I try to always have a positive outlook on situations and prepare myself for challenging ones. I have great teamwork skills and I work great with different types of people even disabled/special needs. The philosophy of Capital One is “Hire great people and give them the opportunity to be great.” Meaning give one a chance to see how good they can be. I don’t want just a job at Capital One I want a career with Capital One.
During my years at Peoria Notre Dame HS, cheerleading has been a big part of my life, and something I hope to continue at the University of Dayton. I am an outgoing and social person and it’s easy for me to learn routines quickly. As captain for both the JV and varsity squads, I have put together multiple award winning routines, selecting the music, choreographing and teaching the routine to the squad. Besides the actual cheer routines, I have used my communication skills to keep squad members and their parents informed. I try to set a good example with my own behavior, I love helping to create enthusiasm for cheerleading in young kids, and I have learned a lot from mediating issues within the team.
I will soon hold a Bachelor degree in Communication Disorders and my studies have taught me how to communicate with individuals from all backgrounds, professions, and social classes. It taught me sympathy and understanding of human interaction. My long term goal is to work with school aged children and young adults as a speech-language pathologist. I have experience in interacting favorably and effectively with children of a wide range and enjoy doing so. I belong in an educational environment and would like to continue on to the school system and contribute to the success of school aged children and young adults.
Jesse Owens once said, “[w]e all have dreams. But in order to make that dream a reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort.” The dreams that I have for my life aren’t going happen overnight, they are going to take time, determination, self-discipline, and effort. Along with taking time and effort, I’m going to take my personal qualities and put them to work. I believe I’m a good applicant for this scholarship because I have good work ethic, good relationships with people, but I also have good characteristics including being goal oriented.
