In the play, The Diary of Anne Frank, Mr. Frank allowed Mr. Dussel to live with them temporarily in the Secret Annex. Peter and Anne fell in love. Lastly, Miep told the Secret Annex people that the Invasion has begun. What do all of these have to do with the quote, “In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart.” All of these acts have to deal with people doing some form of good, despite everything that is happening.

On page 304 in the play, The Diary of Anne Frank, Mr. Frank allowed a new Jewish friend, Mr. Jan Dussel, to live with them in the Secret Annex. He is a dentist, and is in need of a secret hiding place. This relates to Anne’s quote, “In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart.” This relates to Anne’s quote because Mr. Frank was a good man, and he understood that Mr. Dussel was in a tough situation and needed somewhere to stay.
