The story is based upon the Big three Gods named Zeus, Poseidon, and Ares. Which are part of Greek mythology. Those gods were based on Percy( Poseidon son) who has a quest to save the world and not cause a war between gods. The five main characters in the book “ Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief”are Percy, Grover, Annabeth, Poseidon, and Luke.
