In Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson Sea Of Monsters, a thirteen year old demigod named Percy Jackson, goes on a quest with his best friend Annabeth and his recently discovered half brother to retrieve the Golden Fleece to save Thialia’s poisoned pine tree that protects the campers at Camp Half Blood, and to save Percy’s best friend Grover. So what does it truly mean to be successful at something? Does it mean to be known for what that person did or does it represent the feeling someone feels after completing a task. To one, it could mean the satisfaction of accomplishing something after a long time of concentration and hard work. With this being said, the quest for the Golden Fleece was a success in the reader’s eyes because in the quest, no one got hurt, everyone worked together, and they eventually captured the fleece.

Also I think that the fleece brought back “someone who was destined to be a best friend, or possibly the worst enemy.” (Rick Riordan pg279). was more than a successful than unsuccessful because the Golden Fleece brought back a human being back to life. Along with Thalia being brought back to life, the Golden Fleece re strengthen the boarder and further protected Camp Half Blood from monsters.
