Freedom Have you ever wondered why people live the way they do? Some people live in nice houses while others live in the streets & have to worry each day, every moment while their awake, what their next meal is going to be, but it doesn't matter if you drive a nice car or don't, if you have a nice house or don't even have a house at all, it also doesn't matter what your social status is or how much money you have or make because in the end no one is truly free. To be truly free means to have the right to question & the right to change things & only a certain few have these privileges, but the real question is why? When you think about it if you had the right to question things you would do so as you please but in the nations and countries we …show more content…
To have true freedom there would need to be no wars & no conflicts because without wars & conflicts this would bring about peace between and in each nation & country which in turn would allow the people within those nations and countries question and change things without having to worry about anything bad happening because of their choices and actions. As long as there are wars and conflicts people will be in fear & if you have fear you do not have freedom. Freedom means to be free of fear, fearless, without fear, but as I said before as long as there is war & conflicts that cannot happen. As long as there are wants among the people of each country and nation we as people cannot be truly free because to be free means to be free of wants & only focus on the important things in life that is when we the people of each country and nation can be truly free, our dreams are the really important things in life. Being able to put forth an idea is also what keeps us from being truly free. Ideas help change the world & an idea starts with a question & recognizing shortcomings & seeking solutions help answer these questions, but all of this couldn't
The concept of freedom has a deep root in human history. Since ancient times, people perceive that they are created as free individuals. They looked up their liberty even by wars to remove any coercion, restraints and regulations on their actions. People’s liberty has a substantial role in their lives. Free people employ the power of nature and harness it to dominate the earth.
Freedom is the power that allows people to self-determine his or her ideas, it allows people to have the right to act, speak or think without being restraint. The reality of freedom is how individuals see their freedom; for instance, Dr. King got locked in jail for describing his freedom, but others define his freedom differently. Individuals choices, how they want to establish their freedom. One’s person freedom could be someone’s prison. Although people defined that freedom is having unrestricted rights, but limitation create true freedom since it spreads equality to everyone.

Freedom gives the capability to imagine and create anything your heart yearns. A saying by Anthony Robbins says, “If you do what you've always done, you will get what you've always gotten” (Robbins). You will never be unique if you follow the crowd. This world is changing by the people who take risks to change and shape it. The world is always altering every day, whether it’s a big or small change, so why shouldn’t you?
According to dictionary.com, freedom means “political or national independents”, but in reality it means much more than that. During the revolutionary war, four thousand four hundred and thirty-five lives were lost in order to gain independence and freedom for all Americans. I believe that freedom means that people can express themselves however they want and that they can make decisions for themselves. I think that this is true because people can choose their religion, have the freedom of speech, and can stand up for what they believe is right. Freedom of religion was part of the First Amendment to the Declaration of Independence, which means that people are able to choose their religion and can freely worship.
According to the dictionary, freedom is the power to determine action without restraint. Freedom for my generation in America is taken for granted. Having freedom is important because you aren’t forced into doing anything you don 't want to do, it makes life experiences enjoyable, you can be yourself and life 's more fun with freedom. America’s gift to my generation is freedom.
Freedom is something that once you win once, you shouldn 't have to win it again. Yet, many people are very subservient to the fact that even if they gain freedom once, they have to regain it again. This then creates conflicts such as, racism, prejudice, caste systems, and other things of that nature. However, the matter of the fact is that once you gain freedom once, a person shouldn 't have to earn it again. This is true because countries usually do not have to obtain their independence from their mother countries once they acquire it once.
I think America’s greatest gift to my generation is the freedom that allows each individual to reach their full potential. After much dedication, commitment, and perseverance, past generations have made being the best you can be possible. Freedom is the power to act, speak, or think the way you want to without restraint. Freedom is the ability to love whomever we want, It is when you give without expecting a favor, It is the power to forgive when you've been mistaken, it is the capability to do right without being proud of it. To me Freedom is America, Freedom is the 13 horizontal stripes and the 50 stars waving in the wind, and finally Freedom is for everyone to be equal, yet different in his or her own way. Freedom to me is America, as simple as that. On July 4th, 1776 America gained freedom from Great Britain, for this is one of the most important dates in American history.

True freedom is commonly defined as absolute choice; whether it is in thought, actions or speech, freedom is an individual’s ability to take control of their lives and enables the human experience. Civilization views freedom as an ideal, yet the means of achieving it and whether or not freedom is truly achieved remains ambiguous. There are often individuals in civilized society who struggle and believe themselves to be free after a hard earned victory against oppression. Yet, the implications of maintaining a civilized social structure upon freedom is often overlooked. Many individuals view themselves as free from a subjective standpoint, although true freedom has an absolute meaning.
