“The ultimate reason for setting goals is to entice you to become the person it takes to achieve them.”(Jim Rohn). It is important to have goals because it can focus my acquisition of knowledge, and helps you to organize your time and resources to make the most of your life. Some examples include getting a job, having a family, being a successful business person, becoming famous, etc. It is also important to have goals because it can motivate you and keep you active. One important goal for me is to go to college so I can have a good education, become more social, and find something I want to do when I grow up.
Strategic marketing is a broad and practical subject which included the concept of marketing subjects of previous semesters such as business marketing. The study of this subject has contributed to marketing knowledge in many ways, as well as it has strengthened my skills in application of marketing concepts. My knowledge was increased that I was able to develop a complete strategic marketing plan of not only on the part of marketing analysis or strategy of a product or service, but also the whole corporate plan. My skills and capabilities that were developed and integrated during lectures and tutorials include the analytical skills, coordination skills, presentation skills, organization skills, etc. First, from the beginning of the classes I was able to design and implement marketing/business strategies in particular areas only.

Being an active member of the community that surround us is a priority in today’s society. Therefore, having the opportunity to assist seminars, partake in internships, study abroad or simply engage myself in activities where I will be able to discuss current issues and network with the leaders of today and tomorrow, is definitely one of those experiences that I’m looking forward the most. In addition, I believe that being part of such a diverse program and university will offered me the necessary tools to emerge as a more understanding, caring and accepting human being. I believe that The Honors College will be able to continuously feed my intellectual curiosity and my desire to become a better global citizen. Social and leadership skills I must knowledge that one of the most stirred up character within my personality is social interaction. Becoming a part of a community of students, lectures and authority etc. has taught me beneficial skills related to interaction. I have tried to create time for social and professional network, make friends and learn leadership skills, which am certain they are useful qualities that could take me far in my career. Though leadership positions might look good not having held any leadership position in campus one can learn a bunch of really important skills, like managing a 'team' or committee, abiding by deadlines, dealing with criticism, and so many more.” Often taking up certain roles and responsibility I have

I now recognize that I need to think more deeply about who I am both supporting and serving, while also consider more than their immediate needs. I intend to think of the students and faculty members as whole beings connected to each other and the community. The Heart of Higher Education helped me realize that there is more to consider as part of my teaching responsibilities than providing clear, understandable content to students. Our view of the student is too often as a vessel to be filled or a person to be trained . .
This semester has been a really tough one. However, I have learned a lot about myself. It is important for me to recollect what I have learned and be confident going into the interviews. My goal is to recollect my strengths, my weaknesses and areas of improvements as it will allow me to prepare myself for the placement interviews and give me the confidence to stand out and demonstrate my professional experience. For the placement, the students have to initiate contact with the field instructors to set up appointments for interviews.
I realized effective multitasking is attainable through a continued encounter with varied clients experiencing different challenges and expressing varied feelings. Experience with such clients will enable me to learn and thus attain the needed skills in this field. Dealing with the situation entails developing a profession oriented mind that doesn’t sway according to the clients encounter but bases decisions on multitasked approach between reflections of content and reflection of feelings and thus avoiding a dilemma. The strategy can be applied appropriately in the future to solve a challenge involving a client depicting some reasons for his/her conditions while expressing

I will propose new ideas to my peers and work with them to achieve growth and success in the selected tasks. Another way I could contribute is by spreading the word or doing presentations of the benefits of being a member of the NHS. The National Honor Society
Countless colleges around the world train students to be more critical in their thinking. Successful college graduates must develop critical thinking to tackle some of the many demanding courses taught at universities. It’s not enough to simply learn the content of a course, but to understand the greater implication of the subjects learned as well. Through critical thinking, students build upon what they learned and ask, “What if?” Colleges
Personal Statement It has long been my ambition to study business at degree level. My main inspiration has come through my extended project qualification on the marketing mix and more specifically what different retail branches do to attract their target market; this project has allowed me to read a number of academically credited journals and numerous web pages which have only broadened my understanding and increased my appetite to widen my knowledge. I am currently reading, “Little Bets” by Peter Sims, which I have found is a very useful motivational book, I was particularly interested in the, “Growth mind-set chapter.” I am currently studying A-level business studies, English literature and psychology. As these courses are essay based,
